I've returned

Lucy awoke in the Sabertooth infirmary, and saw Sting watching over her. He could barely conceal his sorrow about Yukino, so Lucy was upset seeing him there. Rogue and Minerva were there as well.
"You're awake, Lucy-san?" Rogue asked, without any emotion.
"Yes, what happened?" Lucy asked, panicked.
"You collapsed after using too much magic power, Lucy," Minerva smiled so tenderly, that Lucy could hardly recognize her. "Calling all your spirits was reckless, but I have to thank you."
"It's ok, Minerva."
"Thanks, blondie. For saving our lives, and for.... Yukino..." Sting whispered.
"Don't take such a dangerous mission, Sting. You're S-class, but even you have limitations."
"Yeah, thanks, Lucy."
"Will you please stay for a few days?" Minerva asked.
"I have to return to Fairy tail, I've been away long enough. But thank you, Minerva," She smiled.
"Why were you away in the first place?"
"Well, everyone, except a few close friends of mine, were ignoring me after Lisanna came back from Edolas." She then proceeded to tell the entire story.
Minerva, Sting and Rogue were shocked, but they were amazed by her newfound strength and second origin.
"You can join Sabertooth, if you like, Lucy," Minerva smiled kindly.
"I need to get back to Fairy tail, I've got a few lovely friends there. But thank you, Minerva!"
Lucy headed back to the guild. Her zodiac keys were tattooed on her right hand in gold, with the gate of Ophuicus in the middle. She had formed contracts with all of Yukino's spirits, and they liked her.
She stood in front of the guild.
It has changed. Natsu is trying to pick a fight with Gray, but he isn't responding. Juvia is not hanging over him. Cana is not drinking, and Erza is not eating cake. Mira is with Laxus, but she's not smiling. Lisanna is not carefree. Happy is crying. And little Wendy looks extremely gloomy.
This isn't the guild I know. They missed me?

Lucy opened the doors, with a bright smile. "I'm back, guys, it's me! Lucy!"
Everyone stood shocked. "Luce!" Gray screamed and tackled her in a hug. "Oh my God, I've missed you! And I've waited for you, I love you!"
Lucy hugged him close, and smiled, ''I love you too, Gray."
Mira and Lisanna hugged her hard. Wendy started wailing and Lucy went to comfort her. "Lucy-nee!" And she comforted her little friend. Erza bowed almost to the ground and apologized. Lucy smiled and forgave her, and they shook hands.
Natsu came up to her. "Luce... I'm sorry."
"Don't call me Luce. Only Gray can call me that. I forgive you, Dragneel, but we are not friends anymore."
"Ok, thanks, Lucy."
Levy cried, and came to apologize. Lucy hugged and forgave her readily.
"Love rival!" Juvia cried.
Gray rolled his eyes. "You're dating Lyon, Juvia. Luce is mine. How is she your love rival?!"
"But Juvia has never called Lucy-san anything other than love rival! Juvia will call her love rival.
Don't go near Lyon-sama, love rival, or Juvia will kill you.
Other than that, welcome back!"
Lucy sweatdropped. "Sure, Juvia. I don't like Lyon anyway, so relax!"
Juvia smiled brightly and hugged her. Happy flew up to her chest, and even Carla hugged her. She remembered the gifts. Fish for Happy, some kiwis for Lily, and exotic teas for Carla.
"Fight me, Lucy!" Natsu cried.
Lucy smirked, "Alright."

Natsu started with his signature attack, "Iron fist of the fire dragon!"
Lucy dodged easily, and used, "ice impact!" (A/N - she knows ring magic too. A blue sapphire ring allows her to use ice make magic as well as Gray, a ruby ring allows her to coat her hands in fire, a topaz ring allows her to manipulate lightning, and her most precious ring, a crystal band, allows her to enhance her power almost 20 times. And she has a gold ring like Loke's that allows her to use the power of regulus to its full force even without stardress. Btw she has unlocked second origin, but is going to keep it a secret, until she unlocks her third origin.
Same meaning as second origin, just a lot more powerful.)

Her icy fist slammed into Natsu's face, and he tumbled backwards.
"Roar of the fire dragon!" He shouted.
"Absorb!" Lucy's ring absorbed it, and glowed bright. "Dispell." She commanded, and the flames disappeared completely. Everyone was shocked. She was keeping up with Natsu easily.
He got serious, and started a series of attacks on her, leaving her slightly injured. She finally used Urano Metria. She could use it about 20 times in a row, before getting tired. That was the power of second origin.

Finally she chanted,

Survey the heavens,
open the heavens
All the stars far and wide
Show me thy appearance
With such shine
O Tetrabiblos
I am the ruler of the stars
Aspect become complete
Of thy malevolent gate
O 88 stars of heaven
Shine!

URANO METRIA! 

Everyone gasped as she performed such a powerful spell. It knocked Natsu unconscious, but Lucy only had a few scratches. She did not summon a single spirit for the fight. People were shocked, Erza even dropped her cake! Lisanna squealed in delight, Gray kissed her in front of everyone, and Mira started her ships. Lucy then summoned the healer, Angela, to heal him. Wendy's jaw dropped, when she saw Lucy used healing magic. Natsu woke up and started, "when did you get so strong, damn...."
"I was training. I wanted to make my Gray proud of me. I learned many new magics, and perfected my celestial magic."
She then told them about Yukino, and everyone was sad. They were happy she could save the twin dragons of Sabertooth, though. Lucy sobbed quietly, "I lost a dear friend, and an amazing fellow celestial mage."
Gray held her, and comforted her quietly. "I love you, Luce. Don't cry, my love." And there she lay, quietly content in his arms.
"Let's look for a new apartment, Gray."
"It's ok, I've been paying your rent. The landlady will be glad to have you back."
Lucy gasped. "Gray.... thank you." He simply kissed her. "Don't leave me alone again, Luce. You don't know how sad I was."
"Promise," Lucy smiled tenderly.
Erza coughed to alert the two that people were in the room. She banged Lucy's head against her armor, which was supposed to be a hug. "Well done, Lucy! You're not using your celestial spirits?"
"They are my main magic, Erza. Natsu wasn't strong enough to need it. He always told me I was weak without my spirits, so here goes!"
Erza apologized profusely. "I'm sorry. You're really strong ..."
"Thanks, Erza," Lucy smiled. Natsu looked astounded. "Hey... Lucy. Join our team again?"
"Never again, Salamander. I'm making a new one. Gray, myself, Lisanna and.... Anyone? Just one more person though."
"Gihee, let me."
They looked, astounded at him. "But Levy....."
"Gihee, she's with team shadow gear. Wendy has Romeo. I thought I'll join in, and bunny girl is fun. Of course, it includes Lily."
"Sure... welcome to the team guys!"
They high fived.
"Congratulations on getting stronger, Lu-chan!" Levy smiled.
"Thanks Levy."

Gray asked, "so, wanna pick out a mission, sweetheart?"
"Sure, my love."
There was a good one for 1,000,000 jewels. And it was easy enough for Lucy to go solo....she had done far more dangerous solo missions in the council. But this would be a great chance to catch up.
The request was simple enough.

Please rid our town of some ferocious bandits that are destroying everything.
Warning- they are all mages, and quite strong.

Reward - 1,000,000 jewels.

"Looks easy enough." Gray said casually. Little did they know it would go horribly wrong.
And it would impact Lucy's life for the longest time.
