Month has passed after the incident, but everything seems like it was yesterday. The slaps, the yells are still fresh from your mind. Why tho? Its not like you never felt this treatment before, right?

You and the girls are starting in college already. Sayeoun and Haeun are 1 year over you so you and Minseo are the only girls who are in the same grade. Its fine for all of you.
The bell rang signalling its lunch time. You and Minseo has been pretty flow to each other considering both of you have the same age.

"Gahh. I'm soooo hungry" Minseo whined.
"Your always hungry" you snapped.
"Yes, because, FOOD IS LIFEU"
"Fine fine. Whatever, let's just eat" you said as you let her drag you to the crowded cafeteria.

"HEY BITCHES GIVE WAY!! THE FOOD IS WAITING FOR ITS BRIDE!!!" Minseo shouted.
You chuckled shyly because all of the people are looking at you two like two crazy people.

*Time Skip to the end of the day*
Author's POV

Y/N and Minseo rushed home after the class dismissal. School wasn't Minseo doesn't allow you to go to the library cause she's hella tired of studying.
You said nothing but sighed in defeat.

When you reached home, you slumped back into your bed before changing your clothes.
Y/N feels something isn't right.
She feels this in front of her parents when they're plain talking or arguing.

They're hiding something for her.

**Yuna's POV**
I was shocked when I heard my step-dad confess.
I'm....I'm his true daughter?

I should be happy but I remembered Y/N. Does she knew this? What if.........she doesn't?
But the biggest question is.......who's her REAL parents?

**Y/N's POV**

You continued scrolling to your social media account when your father's number flash through the phone. You gulped then answered it.

"H-hello?"

"Y/N, i had something to tell you" he said

"What is it?" i asked. Feeling the rapid beating of my chest. I feel like this is bad... Really bad.

"You're adopted" he said strait-forwardly.

You remained speechless. 

'I'm adopted?'

"Me and your mom are workmates. She's part of the medic and i'm to the investigatory. You were rescued when some of your neighbors back then tells that your older brother is abused by your parents. Me and Jiso was assigned that day and that's why she adopted you. She needs a father to work for them because she was fired when she failed to rescue your brother. But i was saved. I worked for you both until the accident. The letter there told be by your 'mother' that we will tell you after your 18th birthday. The case is, she died." he paused.

Your definitely crying. All of the abuse is an act? Your mom adopted you and you never say thank you? What did you even do to deserve this? Why is you parents abusive? Why can't you remember your past?
