The first day of school was always a rush for me, picking out the perfect clothes, and making sure your make up is spot on.
I was so ready for this day to come though, I'm finally a senior, my fourth year of high-school and hopefully it will be the best.
My mom pulls around to the pick up/drop off area at my school, I fix my hair quickly and take a deep breath. My moms old red station wagon screeches to a stop, and I causally open the door and hop out.
I walk past crowds of familiar faces, but I spot my friend Rori (short for her extremely long name Aurora-Lynn ) she greets me with a smile. "Aren't you excited" she asks, and I reply with an "of course."
Suddenly we hear the obnoxious bell which signals for us to go to our first period or class. Luckily Rori and I both had chemistry for our first period.
We reach the chemistry class room and briskly walk through the door. We get to pick our seats in this class which I'm glad about, but on the other hand a lot of people beat us here so there's only a few seats left. I sit down in a desk in the back of the classroom that is diagonal from Rori.
I turn to my left and see a tall, tan guy sitting next to me. He has short shaggy hair that is swept to the right of his head. His face flows yet he has very sharp facial features. His cheek bones are heavy and make him look tough. He fiddles with his pencil while I try to read him, and figure out his personality.
He noticed my focused face and chuckles a bit. Soon enough a large hand is stuck out in my direction as he proclaims " I'm Nylan, you are?"
"Sarah," I say as I look into his comforting chestnut eyes.
"Sarah" he quietly mutters to himself.
