The room was silent as everyone looked at me and Ashton.

"Well? Are you going to kiss her?" urged Michael, nodding at me.

Ashton was stock-still, not moving a muscle, not looking at me at all. I glanced at Luke, who shrugged. Looking at Calum, he avoided my gaze and did the same.

We all waited for Ashton to do something.

Finally, he spoke.

"Bro, that's not fair. Just give me another dare, okay?" he said angrily.

"Dude, just do it," said Michael, leaning back and smirking. A part of me wanted to hate Michael for this, but most of me was swelling with excitement and joy. I really wanted Ashton to kiss me, and I didn't care if the rest of the boys were there to watch.

Luke cleared his throat a bit and began to speak, but Michael cut him off with a wave. Calum looked like he wanted to say something, but he bit his tongue and held it back.

Finally, Ashton budged.

"Fine," he said. "Can it be on the cheek?"

His exasperated tone and the way he groaned made me worried. I thought Ashton liked me? Why would he want just a kiss on the cheek? I quickly shoved those thoughts away, assuring myself that he probably felt awkward kissing me in front of his best mates.

"No bro," laughed Michael. "Full on kiss, lip to lip."

Ashton rolled his eyes and then turned to me. His hazel eyes gazed into mine, and I bit my lip. He had a bit of stubble ringing his chin, and the way he bit his lip in the corner was beyond sexy. I bit my own lip self-consciously, and smiled shyly up at him.

Ashton leaned in a little, and I felt myself doing so instinctively as well.

"Are you okay with this?" he whispered when he face was but two inches away from mine.

"Yeah," I mumbled breathlessly. I could smell the cheap beer on his breath, and his lips were faintly chapped. I felt my eyes slowly close just before his lips touched mine.

At first, we just sat there, stock still, both unmoving as we waited for the other to do something. Then, Ashton opened his mouth slightly and I followed his lead. Before I knew what was happening, we were full-on kissing, Ashton's hand resting gently on my jaw, his other hand lost in my hair. One of my arms was wrapped around his neck, while the other traced shapes on his chest. It was a magical feeling, and I felt my heart beat faster and faster, my blood pulsing through my veins at an alarming rate.

And then suddenly, Ashton broke off. He looked ruffled and confused, his fluffy hair sticking out a bit in tufts. He blushed red and looked away.

Michael started clapping.

"Bravo!" he said loudly. "Good one!"

Luke and Calum joined in, and despite everything that had gone on between Calum and me, he seemed genuinely happy for me.

"I give that a ten," laughed Luke, clapping

"Bet Katya was only a five," chuckled Michael, winking at Ashton.

"Katya?" I asked, confused. "Who's Bianca?"

The entire room froze. Ashton avoided my gaze as I repeated my question: "Who's Katya?"

Calum cleared his throat, but Michael waved at him to be quiet. He shook his head and gestured at Ashton, who was now beet-red.

"Katya is..." began Luke, but Michael punched him.

"Ow! What'd you do that for?" growled Luke, pummeling Michael. The two duked it out on the floor, narrowly missing a red solo cup filled with beer.
