Chapter 4: Home sweet Home

After History class finished, I headed to the school cafeteria to have lunch with Jessi. I told her about the incident that happened with me and Lucy..... and well this was her reaction....

"She did what?! Oooh that whore's really gonna get it this time!" She cried out as she was putting her hand into a fist. "She just doesn't know when to stop!" She yelled out as she pounded the table. Poor table...... "Hey Katy, you wanna TP her house later? Or maybe we can even break into her house and trash her room!... It'll be fun......." She asked as she smiled mischievously.

"Haha Jessi won't we get arrested for doing things like that?......." I asked. "Besides it's okay! Lets just say...... Jacob came to my rescue....."

"Huh? Jacob?...... Are you talking about Jacob Harris?"

"Yeah..... that's what I was thinking too! I mean why would he even bother to help me out?....."

She smirked. "Maybe he's finally come to his senses and realized that he likes you." She replied snickering.

"Jessi! I cant believe you just said that!..... You know how I feel about Jacob, he's always been picking on me....... he's no better than Lucy and the others! Just because he helped me out once doesn't mean I'm gonna forget about all those bad things he did and said to me." I protested whilst I started to pout.

"Okay, okay... sheesh ya don't have to give me a speech, I understand" She stated. "But still, I mean ya can't blame him." She added on then started to sip her juice box.

"Jessi!!!" I can't believe her right now! She knows I hate him, yet she's still going on!

"What?....... I mean you're really pretty and smart too!...... If I was a guy, I would totally hit on you." She continued as she was nodding her head.

"Huh?....um..... thanks?...." Was that suppose to be a compliment?....

"Sheesh I was just joking.... and can't you take a compliment!?" She implied playfully shoving me.

"Owww....." I responded while chuckling. "Haha thanks Jessi, you really do know how to make me feel better."

"Duhh, I am your best-friend after all." She said with a grin.

"Yeah..... best-friends forever!" I added with a smile.

"Hey..... so um..... since were best-friends and all.... can I have your cookie?" She asked with a grin.

"I knew this was your intention!....." I confessed. "Here you go.... " I said as I handed her the cookie.

"Yay!" She squeaked as she gobbled down the cookie.

"Haha! Jessi take you're time..... you might choke...." I warned her.

"Fine........." She replied while her mouth was full.

After I finished having lunch with Jessi, I finished the two class periods I had left..... then it was time to go...... home. *sigh* I wish I could stay in school forever,..... some people might think I'm a nerd for liking school so much, but they don't know what I have to go through at home. The terrible treatment I get.... and the threats that come along with it. What a terrible life I'm living, I wouldn't wish this life on anyone...... not even Lucy. Well, I better try my best to catch the 3:00 bus... the next one doesn't come until 3:15.... And I don't wanna think about what she'll do to me if I reach home late. *jogs to the bus stop*
