Always (Jack Dail fanfic)

Chapter 1.

Kaelyn's POV

I wake up to the sound of my alarm.

I quickly hit the snooze button as I get up from my bed.

As I rummage through my suitcase I find my new shirt. It's the one I got from North Carolina when we lived there.

I threw on the tie-dyed shirt and slipped on my ripped skinny jeans and my black vans. I went into my bathroom and brushed my hair.

I grabbed my straightener from the drawer and straightened my hair.

I put on some black eyeliner and did my famous wing and put on my baby lips. I turned off the light and went downstairs.

My dad was sitting at the table in the kitchen reading his newspaper.

"Morning sunshine." He beamed.

"Morning dad." I said as I grabbed the Captain Crunch from the cupboard and made myself a bowl of cereal.

I plopped down on the couch and turned on Spongebob like every morning.

"Hey." My brother said as he sat down next to me with a banana in his hand.

"Hey." I replied.

As I checked the time on my phone it said 7:32.

"Shit we gotta go!" I panicked and grabbed my backpack and ran outside with my brother following behind.

"Watch your language and have a good first day guys!" My dad yelled out the door.

As the bus doors opened I walked up the steps to see a full bus. I couldn't really find anywhere to sit. My brother Cody already found a seat next to this guy with a haircut similar to his and freckles.

I walked down the small crowded isle as I heard someone say

"This seats open."

I looked to the left to see a blonde haired girl patting the seat next to her as I sat down.

"Hi Im Abby!" She smiled with her shiny white teeth.

"Hey Im Kaelyn." I smiled back.

"You're the new girl right?" She asked.

"Yea."

"You're gunna love it here just saying." She laughed and I laughed along too.

A couple minutes later we arrived to a huge blue school.

It took awhile to get out but as soon as we stepped foot on the ground, Abby pulled my hand and ran to a huge group of girls dressed fancy with their hair pretty and curled.

"Hey guys this is Kaelyn!" She said to the group of girls.

They all turned their heads and looked at me. Surprisingly they all smiled and said hi and even complimented my outfit and hair and stuff.

Im pretty sure those are the popular girls.

Two guys walked up to our little group. One guy was the one Cody sat next to on the bus and the other one was tall and had curly light brown hair. He also had freckles and huge dimples with braces.

"Hey baby." The blonde haired guy said and hugged the pretty brunette who told me her name was Melissa.

"That's Dillon, Melissa's boyfriend." Abby whispered to me.

"Who's the other one?" I asked, not taking my eyes off him.

"Oh that's Jack, he's like the most popular kid in school. He's so hot." She giggled.

"He is." I said and blushed when he looked our way.

The bell rang, breaking our small gaze and the huge group of students all shoved their way through the front doors.
