*Harry's point of view*

I yawned loudly, stretching my arms towards the night stand where my phone alarm was going off to the ugly 'Marimba' tone. I would put my favourite song as my alarm but I know I would end up hating it and I'm too afraid to risk it.
I rolled back in, warmed by the hugs of my fluffy comforter. Opening my eyes a little I stared at the ceiling and looked around my new room. The walls were white and the flooring was wooden and in the corner lay a couple of un-opened boxes. I'm quite a cleanliness freak and these few boxes only contained all the 'not-so-important stuff that I probably won't require urgently' (that's what was labelled on the boxes) so I left them to be opened according to my leisure.
Our new house was lovely. Although averagely sized, my mum was able to decorate it beautifully. Nothing could compare to my old house considering all my childhood memories are contained in those walls but this wasn't too bad.

I always thought moving was a big deal but to be honest, when you actually move, it doesn't feel like a big change. I mean, I shouldn't judge so quickly since I only moved here three days back and Holmes Chapel is only a 3 hour drive from Doncaster (here) and I haven't even been to my new school yet.

SchOol. Holy shit.

Today is supposed to be the first day of senior year in Doncaster High. We moved in perfect time since I completed junior year back in Cheshire and was able to start senior year in Doncaster with the rest of the students going to Doncaster High. So I wouldn't be the 'new guy who showed up in the middle of the school year'.

It was only 7:09 AM so I had time since my new school was like a 10 minute walk away. I could easily chill in my bed for 10 minutes, no maybe 13 minut— my thoughts were interrupted with two knocks on my bedroom door.

"Yes, mum come in"

My mum walked in, giddy as ever, "Good morning honey. First day of the new school, you should be up and about by now"

"I'm exhausted" I sighed in attempt to rise up and fall back down on my front.

"Harry you slept a whole night. How the hell can you possibly be exhausted?"

Before I could give here my reasons she stopped me and told me to get down for breakfast in 15. I'm planning to do Law, I'm good with my arguments but when it comes to mum, she's always the judge.

I took a quick shower, got dressed in black skinny jeans, a plain white tee and a blue sleeveless flannel and tied a bandana around my hair. What ? Don't judge me, it's the first day of school, I wanna look good. And no, I'm not overdressed. I mean, I'm a senior now plus I love what I'm looking like.

I rushed downstairs with my bag, had some scrambled eggs, put on my brown boots and my mum drove me to school in her Toyota. I told her I could walk but she's insisted on 'driving her baby for the first day of school' I swear to God she acts like I'm five. I love it.

I kissed her goodbye and entered the school premisses and oh my God, Donny High is huge. It was confusing at first but I managed to find my way to the principal's office.
I had a little chat with Mr. Corden, he gave me my daily schedule of all the classes to attend and gave me my locker number and told me to stand by my locker and some dude called 'Neil', I think, would come and give me a tour of the school.

As I left the principal's office and opened the doors to the hall where all the lockers were, all the eyes of all the teenagers in the hall darted to where I was. My eyes went wide open, suddenly conscious of my every move, I started walking to my locker. "Locker number 78. Great. All the way down the hall" I whispered to myself as I continued my walk of shame. Not only was everyone staring at me, judging my every step but also whispering into each other's ears, not doubt in my mind they were gossiping about me. What a warm welcome.
