Chapter 2

Chase's POV

I heard someone knocking my door so hard like they wanted to break it

I walked out from my room and headed to the door

As I was walking close to the door, I heard someone mumbled something "Ellie..."

As soon as I heard her name, I immediately shouted asking from the inside, pretending like I didn't know who the person was as I was walking toward the door

"Who the fuck is it?"

The person immediately stopped knocking the door and everything turned into silence

"That must be Chase" I heard someone mumbled

I opened the door and saw Bryant and Ellie. I rolled my eyes in my head when I said her name.

"Hey" they both said at the same time as they gave me a nervous smile

My eyebrows furrowed deeply as I looked at Bryant then at Ellie "What are you doing here?" I asked harshly

"We just wanted to be good friends, so we decided to drop by" Bryant said as he stepped toward me and gave a friendly pat on the back

He tried to turn me around to get in the house but I didn't move. I still glared at the person who was standing in front of me with her head down

"What are you doing there, Ellie? Come in" Bryant motioned her to get in the house

I saw her was about to step into my house. I immediately stopped her "Who said she can get into my house?" I glared at her heatedly like I was going to burn her head with my eyes

"Come on, Chase. Don't be rude. She just wanted to pay you a visit as a friend. Why are you stopping her?" He walked toward that brat and wrapped his arm around her shoulders

I secretly rolled my eyes at how that girl lured my best friend into her. 'She's such an mistress'

Bryant walked her into the house without giving a shit about me

I hate that bitch. Doesn't she know that she ruined my relationship with Olivia?

I slammed the door closed loudly causing Ellie to flinched at the sound of it

I walked past them up to my room without giving them a glance

I laid in my bed while staring at the ceiling

I was annoyed by the fact that the girl who I despised the most, was in my house.

2 years ago

I was sitting in my seat, admiring the mother nature through the window of my classroom. Suddenly, I remember the date I had with Olivia last night. It was so amazing. She made me so happy. I did love her from the bottom of my heart. Olivia and I had been together for 2 years, but not everyone knew about this besides Bryant, my best friend since first grade. She decided to keep our relationship a secret because she said she didn't want to be attacked by my fangirls. I didn't agree with her at first, but then I realized it was her own good. Thus, I decided not to reveal our relationship. I really hated being a popular kid in school, to be complete honest. I wanted to show the person I love to the world, but I couldn't.

Suddenly, my phone vibrated

I looked down at it and saw the text from Olivia

'Chase, can we talk after school?'

I immediately texted her back
