Chapter 6

Olivia's POV

I was really in good mood today. Why? It was because Chase finally asked Ellie out. Ellie was the only best friend I ever had. Before she transferred into this school, I had no one. I knew you'd probably ask me what about Chase?. You knew since I chose to date him secretly, he didn't dare to show up in front of me, and I totally understood that. I was the one who told him to do it because I didn't want to be attacked by his fan girls since he was quiet popular in San Marino high. I decided to end our relationship for some reasons. I thought he deserved someone better than I was. Someone who was willing to look after him, love him and be there for him. And that person was Ellie.

When she told me how she felt about Chase, she seemed so sincere about what she felt about him like how she described him in the way that no one did. Hence, it made me think she was the one for him.

However, since the day I broke up with Chase, he'd become so cocky and cold hearted. I got mad at the way Chase treated Ellie and at how he rudely shooed her away whenever she showed up in front of him. I wasn't confident enough to confront him about it. I sometimes wanted to lecture him how he should behave to girls like Ellie.

"Liv, back to earth. Hello?" Ellie snapped her fingers and waved her hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my trance

I looked up at her and smiled apologetically "What were you saying?"

"I was saying if you could help me to pick my outfit."

"Sure thing." I gave her an 'Okay' sign

She nodded

Ellie's POV

"Hey, Ellie." I turned around and saw Bryant approaching me with a cheeky smile on his face

"What's gucci?" I said sarcastically

He laughed "I heard people were talking about you and Chase. I think I missed out something."

I felt warm on my cheeks and shyly giggled "He asked me out."

He mouthed 'oh' and slightly smiled at me

"I still can't believe it actually happened." I smiled widely as I thought about the date I and Chase were having this Friday

His lips pulled into a tight smile as he nodded

I frowned confusedly at how he reacted about my date with Chase

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Nothing. I'm not feeling well. I gotta go now"

"Okay." I nodded my head up and down in understanding

"Be careful." He pat my shoulder as he flashed me a warning look before he left

I was standing there dumbfounded, trying to figure out what he really meant about 'Be Careful'

I shrugged off the thought and headed to my next class

Bryant's POV

What Chase told me about his revenge on Ellie yesterday was still here, stuck in my head. I found it so cruel and evil to revenge on an innocent girl like Ellie. No, it wasn't because I liked her. I meant yes I liked her but as a sister. I didn't want to see her hurt by her love one. Moreover, Ellie didn't acknowledge what really happened between him and Olivia. I considered Chase my brother and always approved and supported every decision he made. But, this was only decision I disapproved. Why? It was the worst decision he had ever made. I knew he was going to come to me and said he regretted everything.
