The Only Exception

Prologue

(Slenderman's POV)

"No I can't do this anymore. Yes. I cheated and I do feel bad, but HE doesn't have a house of creeps to run! HE isn't a monster!"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. What could I have done to make her this angry? This upset? So misguided as to cheat on me with a human! We were fine up until she became pregnant with my child.

Then she became really distant. She wouldn't smile for no reason anymore. No more random hugs or begging for me to take time off of running the house to spend the day with her. I knew something was wrong, but not this wrong.

"I guess what I'm trying to say here is.... I think it would be safer for the baby to be raised by Kenneth and I than by you and your proxies. It is half human."

I finally spoke out. "But he or she is also half Ender, half... Pasta, proxie! Did you ever think of how this might effect you and uh.. Kenneth?!

"As long as he or she is safe from the mansion from Hell then I don't care if she's safe for us. At least she herself is safe from monsters!"

I let out a deep sigh. I was not confident at all about what I was just about to do.

"Okay. As long as you agree that this child will be your only child. You will never have another, I will let you live, and raise my child. I also would like you to inform me of

the child's well being every few months or so."

"Mmmm alright" she thought. "I suppose it's only fair. Thank you slenderman. Goodbye." And with that, she stormed out of the forest.

That was it, I would never get to see my child. I would have to go back and explain everything to the proxies and pastas. Why they would never know what that child would look like. Why I don't have Maria at my side any longer.

"Goodbye child, daddy loves you" I murmur to myself.

The baby wasn't even born yet. It was due any day now though. I started back for the mansion while I repeated those words to myself one last time, "Daddy loves you".
