The Only Exception

Chapter 6

(Slendy's POV)

I decided to wake Mackenzie up at around 11 today. To my surprise, when I walked into her room, Jack was already there.

He held her in his arms and they were looking at each other, he was chuckling as she poked at his mask while grinning and giggling.

Mackenzie looked up from Jack to see me. Jack noticed me and also looked up. "Sorry Slender, I could't stay away, she was mumbling in her sleep around ehh... 7 ish, I heard her, and came in. She was wide awake."

The boy looked at me with pleading eyes. He didn't harm her, and she looked happy, so I shrugged and nodded, "Okay".

Kenzie tried talking. "G'morning", she said looking at me with sparkling eyes.

"Morning Mackenzie", I said while smiling, not that it was obvious, but there are dents in my face where my eyes and mouth would be.

She looked at Jack and pointed to me, then to him, then her, while making a motion with her other hand.

Jack must have known what it meant because he got up with her and signaled for me to come with.

We walked downstairs where everyone was, and got some glares and questioning looks. It was then I realized that Jack had her in his arms.

"Slendy, how come Jack gets to meet her and we don't?" Ben asked with them all nodding in response to the question.

"He snuck into her room, I would yell at him, but, she likes him, and he was helping her." I sighed. "Well can we meet her now?" Chimed Masky.

"I suppose, Mackenzie, the boy in the green is Ben. He'll be annoying, but I'm sure you will love him." She waved to Ben and motioned towards him with her hand, Jack got up, and handed her to Ben, then got both of their breakfasts ready.

"Slendy can I introduce her to the rest?" "Sure". "Ok Mackenzie, well, that in the white sweatshirt is Jeff, he isn't too friendly- " she looked over at Jeff who gave a small smile at her and then looked down. "- next to Jeff is Masky and Hoodie, they don't talk much, kinda like you!"

She smiled and waved to them. "After them is Laughing Jack, He's the best clown you will ever meet."

He laughed and waved, she Smiled with excitement. "Then Toby" she smiled and waved as he waved back eating pancakes and waffles. "Well uh thats everyone". He smiled and looked at Kenzie. "You are absolutely adorable!" She smiled and reached for his hat.

I tensed up, and made it visible. Ben never let anyone touch his hat. Instead he bent his head down and let Mackenzie grab it. I was amazed, maybe I don't have to hide the fact that they're killers. Maybe she will still love us.
