Life V.S. Death

(Odin's POV)

Holding the child's hand I walk into the room where everyone was. I cleared my throat to get everyone's attention. They turned their heads and looked at me with a confused expression.

"Odin, who is this?" Laufey speaks

"This is Joseph. He is to be cared for here. Apparently this young boy believes this is his home. His mother and father are not here. I haven't seen them anywhere." I informed. 

"Joseph?" Laufey questions. He peers at Joseph with intent. Joseph fidgets uncomfortably under his gaze. 

"Tell me young boy," Aradia continues. "Where are your parents?"

"They are um....they are away. Doing some important stuff..." Joseph stated. 

"How old are you?" Thor asks

"I'm ten years old." Joseph answers

"Nice to meet you Joseph, I'm Tony and this is my girlfriend Pepper." Tony introduced waving his hand to Pepper.

"My name is Natasha, and this is Clint and Bruce." Natasha commends.

"I'm Steve and this is Thor." Steve amends

"I am Nicholas Fury, this is Morgan, Vladmir, Van Helsing, Laufey, Frigga, Aradia,Michael and Lucifer." Nicholas spoke nodding towards the group. 

"Hello..." they said in unison. Joseph nodded and smiled. Laufey gasped. 

"I know who you are!" Laufey exclaims.

"What?" Clint asks

"He's...no way. Impossible!" Laufey continues wide eyed. 

"What Laufey. What's impossible? Who is he?" I asks. Everyone stares at her. After a while Laufey shakes his head and takes a deep breath. 

"Nevermind. It's nothing..." Laufey said shakily. "We must leave now back to our realms. We can assemble our own men and find a way to bring them back." I nod. I let go of Joseph's hand and kneel down to him. 

"Young boy we are leaving you in the hands of the Avengers. We shall see you later alright?" I inform. Joseph nods and walks to Thor. He grabs his hand and grips it tightly. Thor looks at him in confusion. Shaking his head he looks at me.

"I hope you have a safe journey Father." Thor says. I nod and beckon Frigga to come. She comes to me and holds my hands. Laufey hasn't moved from his spot. He was staring at Joseph with a look I could not decipher. 

"Laufey?" 

"Hmm?"

"Aren't you coming?"

"Yes...you go ahead. I'll join later. Joseph, may I talk to you for a minute?"

Joseph nods his head and walks to a room with Laufey. After a few minutes Joseph and Laufey walk out of the room. Laufey had a huge grin on his face. Joseph too. Whatever happened, pleased Laufey to an extent I could not imagine. Joseph sat by Thor again and waved his hand towards us. 

"Bye." Joseph says.

"Good bye Joseph." Laufey states. I lean towards Laufey.

"What were you two talking about?" I whisper. Laufey chuckles.

"This boy, Joseph. He is something." Laufey answers. 

"You know somehting don't you?"

"What do you mean?"

"What did you find out?"

"Who he is."

"And what is that?"

"You'll see.." Laufey said smiling. I rolled my eyes and looked at everyone. 

"Until later, I hope all of you are safe and we shall meet again." The avengers nodded. 

"Heimdall!" A beam of light shot down and enveloped everyone but Nicholas and the Avengers and Joseph. 

(Laufey's POV)

Joseph. This boy. I can't believe it's really him. He is the one I saw in my dreams. The one that Aradia's mom told me about. I can't believe it is him. Seeing him brought hope that they will come back. For sure. 

(Unknown's POV)

"Sir...they are dead."

"Then how is that boy still there?" Master booms. I keep my head down.

"I know not sir."

"Very well then. I want you to follow him, make sure he doesn't find out anything. If he does, kill him!" Master commands. 

"Yes master." I say standing up. I spread my white wings and take off. I land in front of Ira's house. I look at the window on the far right to find him looking at me. I make sure my white wings are invisible to him. I spread them out and notice his eyes widen. How can he see me? He truly is powerful. I smile at him menacingly, while turning into my human disguise. I wave at him and then walk away. 

(Joseph's POV)

I looked at the man out the window. Seeing him spread his white wings, I felt my eyes widen. After he left I shuddered. The image of him smiling at me menacingly scared me. I heard my door open a crack. I turn around to find Tony looking at me. 

"Hey kiddo. You hungry?" I nod and follow him. We pass by a room that had it's door open. I see two beds there. Curiously I walk towards it and push the door even further. I found two bodies lying on blue beds, both dressed in white and gold. They look familiar. My eyes slowly crept up to their faces. But before I could see them I was yanked away. I turned around and found Thor staring at me. 

"Don't go there. You are not allowed there." He commands. I nod and head out. I see Thor closing the door and locking it. Whatever or whoever was in that room, he obviously didn't want me to see. Thor caught up with me and we continued our journey to the kitchen.

"Who were they Un- I mean Thor?" I stuttered. Thor didn't seem to catch my mistake and grunted.

"Let's just say they are important people who we all cared very much." He explained. But I didn't need to be told who they were. I already knew. They were my parents.

Bam!!! Chapter 1!! What do you think? Joseph's whole name is Joseph Baldr ( pronounced Boulder) Lokison. Yes he is the son of Loki and Ira. He can time travel. Since he is born from two immortal beings, he has become a god. He is the God of time. Thus the reason why he can time travel.
