(Uriel's POV)
Standing in front of the house, I look through the window. I can see the Casket sitting on the counter, untouched and let out to be captured. This should be easy. I smirked as I looked back at my group.
"Be quick about this! Make sure no one stops me while I go retrieve the casket. Understood?" I shouted. A murmur of agreements swept through the group. I opened the door and walked in casually. Looking around, I swiftly approach the casket.
Just as I was about to reach out for the casket, a beam of light shot through my hand. Pain seared through my body as I stepped back and dropped to my knees. I look around to find the source of the light but nothing was there. I also noticed that none of my men were there. What the hell? I set my gaze upon my right hand to find blood spurting out like a fountain. My hand was cut off and laying on the floor, a pool of blood surrounding it.
"Uriel..." A voice whispered. A female voice.
"Who's there?" I question. I found that the voice was coming down from the hallway.
"Uriel. Come here." the voice said. I followed slowly down the hallway to the bottom of the stairs. "Come upstairs" I look up the stairs to find nothing but darkness. I take a deep breath and proceed up the stairs. Once I reach the top I stop. Footsteps echoed around the house.
"Who's there?" I commanded. "Show yourselves" Nothing. All of a sudden the air shimmered and a figure appeared. It was a woman, with black hair and brown eyes. A heart shaped face, and a young body. She was looking at me with an expression I couldn't read.
"Uriel, come to me." she commands. I walk to her and the closer I approached her, the more I started to realize who she was. I stopped a foot away from her when I realized who she was. Ira.
"I-Ira?" I stutter. She nods.
"My friends, please show yourselves." Ira commands. Everyone emerged from the shadows. I assessed everyone, until my eyes stopped at the young boy. He looked so familiar. He was staring at me with pure hatred in his eyes. Flinching I turned and set my sights on Raziel. He too had the expression of hatred and anger. And something else. Pity? I shook my head and gave my attention back to Ira.
"Uriel, what have you done?" Ira questions. I hung my head in shame. "You threatened the lives of your brethren, the lives of the inhabitants of the nine realms, and my own son." I looked up shocked when she mentioned son. I turned to the boy. My eyes widened in realization. He is Ira's son.
"M-My apologies, Ira. For I had no knowledge of such news." I said.
"Liar!" the boy exclaims. I flinch at his tone. It reeked of power. The blond armored man (Thor) held onto the boy as he thrashed violently against him.
"My son, calm down," Ira appointed. The boy stopped and looked to Ira. Then held his head down.
"Sorry mom..." he says.
"Uriel, how come you didn't know of my son's existence? Surely you were informed of such matter." Ira continues. Yeah I was....I just didn't care.
"My apologies Ira. But I assure you that I wasn't informed about this."
"You are lying." Michael intervened. "I told you Uriel, I told you in person of Joseph's prescence." I paled.
"Ira, h-he is lying. I swear."
"I know my brother won't lie to me about this. So tell me, Uriel, what have you done?" After a few minutes of silence, I fell to my knees.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I was so jealous that you had the power to rule everything! You sholudn't even belong here! You are to young for anything! You are not worthy of kingship!"
"Oh? Then who is?"
"I am!!!"
"That is where you are wrong Uriel. HE chose me for a reason. HE knew of my powers and capability. So naturally I was fit for kingship. Pity, you destroyed everything for a taste of power. I'm sorry Uriel." Ira said in dismay. She turned to Raziel. "Raziel, you know what to do." Raziel walked towards me and grabbed ahold of my arm. I silently followed him to wherever he was taking me.
(Joseph's POV)
I watched Raziel take Uriel away.
"Joseph." I turn and find mother watching me. She was smiling at me with love shone clearly in her eyes. "Hurry my son, you don't have that much time." I nod. Mom looks towards our little group.
"Take care of him. All of you. And be careful."
"Will do." Tony replies smiling. Mom nods and looks at me again.
"Joseph, I love you darling. And daddy loves you too. Be strong."
"I love you too Mommy. And I promise." With that Mom disappeared into thin air. Raziel walked into the room.
"So what shall we do with Uriel?" Uncle Thor asks.
"We interrogate him until he tells us where the tesseract is." Scott replies. And with that everyone walks down to the room where Uriel was held.
