(Joseph's POV)
We followed Raziel drag Uriel down the stairs to the basement. Raziel opened the door and tossed Uriel into the room. With a flick of his wrist, chains appeared on Uriel's arms which attached itself to the wall behind him. Uriel who previously had his head down, now looked up at Raziel with fear in his eyes.
"Where is the tesseract?" Raziel asks.
"I-I don't know" he replies
"LIAR!!!" Raziel screams. His shout echoes around the room of the basement, Uriel flinches.
"I'm not lying!" Uriel shouts back. Raziel raises his hand and slaps Uriel hard, causing his neck to crack from the whiplash.
"YES YOU ARE!" Raziel retaliated " Now where is the tesseract?"
"I lost it...." Uriel replies. Anger raged through my body as those words echoed in my head.
"YOU LOST IT?!" I yelled. "HOW COULD YOU LOSE SUCH AN ITEM?!"
"I don't know okay?!" Uriel yells back. Scott kneels down next to me and whispered in my ear.
"He's lying" Uriel's head snaps up to face us. His eyes narrow.
"Fine! I am lying!" He sneered "But you'll never ever find the tesseract! You'll never get that from me! You're going to die you little twit!" Scott growled. Raziel smacked Uriel again.
"Hush your mouth traitor!" Raziel boomed. I walked up to Uriel and looked at him.
"You may not tell us now. But after Raziel deals with you, maybe you will." I said. With that Uriel looked at me then at Raziel with pure fear in his eyes. I backed up and turned towards Raziel.
"You know what to do." I said. Raziel bowed and started to head towards Uriel. Uriel backed up as close as he can to the wall. I walked up the stairs and closed the door behind me. Everyone was looking at me. I didn't pay them any attention as I walked up the stairs to my room. Once my head hit the bed, I heard muffled cries from the basement. Cries of pure agony. I winced. As much as I didn't want to hurt Uriel, it had to be done. And with that thought in mind, I slowly faded into darkness.
3 hours later.....
I woke up to Uncle Thor shaking me awake.
"My nephew, Raziel asks for you." He says. I nod and head down to the basement. Once I entered I willed my self to not puke on site. The scent was horrific, and the scene infront of me was worse. Blood was everywhere. There was lying heap of something on the floor.
"I-Is that Uriel?" I asked. Raziel nodded. "You asked for me?"
"Yes he has confessed to the location of the tesseract."
"And?"
"It's at a place in California where the criminals go. Some kind of famous prison."
"Great!" I exclaimed and turned to the door.
"Wait..." a voice said. I turned around to find that the voice came from Uriel, who at the moment was struggling to get up. I soon noticed that his wings were torn off from his back.
"Help him up Raziel....Please." I commanded. Raziel took one of Uriel's arms and wrapped it around his shoulder. He hoisted Uriel up to a standing position. Uriel looked up with dull black eyes.
"I'm so very sorry. I really am." He says
"Sorry can't erase for what you have done Uriel...." I sighed. He hung his head in shame. "But you should try to work hard for redemption. Finish your life as a human, maybe you might be forgiven." His head perked up and his black eyes filled with hope. He nodded.
"Take Uriel to a room and tend to his needs." I told Raziel.
"But what if he acts up?" He asks looking at Uriel warily.
"You'll know what to do." I said. Raziel nodded his head and carried Uriel up the stairs. After he left I went up and closed the door. I turned to find everyone looking at me.
"So..." Tony began. "Do we know where the tesseract is?"
"Yes. It's at Alcatraz" I said.
