(Joseph's POV)
Everyone looked at me like I was crazy.
"God of time?!" Laufey exclaimed. I nod.
"But Father said that I was also the God of something else. I'm not sure. He didn't tell me anything." I continue.
"Amazing..." Bruce says.
"Wait," Tony begins "If you are from the future. And you are actually Loki's and Ira's son. Then doesn't that mean Loki and Ira is brought back to life?"
"Duh." I say giving him a wierd look.
"What?" Tony asks clueless. I roll my eyes.
"Can you tell us about the future Joseph?" Uncle asks.
"Mom is pregnant with another child. And my cousin and I are excited to see the child." I state
"Cousin?" Clint asks.
"As in my child?" Thor asks. I nod.
"Your son." I reply. "His name is Alvis James Thorson." Thor smiled. "And Natasha and Clint has children as well." I say turning towards them. "Her name is Anna Marie Barton."
"What about Pepper and I?" Tony asks.
"You two have twins. Edmund Anthony Stark and Benjamin Harry Stark." Tony nods. "All in all. Our future is really bright."
"Do we look old?" Steve asks. I laugh.
"No. You look the same as you do now." I reply smiling.
"Is that supposed to get you on our good side?" Bruce asks. I shake my head and put a serious face on.
"I was not kidding."
"But how?" Natasha asks baffled.
"You guys became immortal." I reply nonchalantly.
"IMMORTAL??!!!" Steve exclaims. I shrug.
"Whoa." Tony syas shaking his head. "Okay information overload!"
"My son, is he a god of something?" Thor asks me.
"Yes he is the God of Strength and Fire." I say bluntly. Thor nods and grins. The ground began to shake. Thor held onto me while the ground split in two. Out came a man with black clothing. What startled me the most was his body was on fire. His skull, bare bone on fire. Pure red and yellow fire. He looked at me and the flames turned blue. I stood up and started to walk towards him. Odin grabbed me and pulled me behind him. The fire turned red and yellow again and roared. He lunged to attack.
"No!" I demanded. The man stopped and stepped back. He bowed.
"Joseph. What..." Clint asked stunned.
"Please. He's just a friend." I respond walking towards him. The man extends his hand towards me. A skeletal hand of blue fire. I reached for it, half expecting to burn my hand. Instead I felt nothing. I grasped the hand and watched in awe as the fire dissapitated and turned to human flesh. Everyone behind me gasped. The man looked at me and smiled. He had blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes. Sun kissed skin and stern jaw.
"Joseph." he said.
"Scott." I nod. "Everyone I want you to meet Scott." Everyone nods.
"So what was this whole fire burning fananza?" Steve asks.
"I am gifted." Scott responds. "I am known as the ghostrider."
"Ghost rider?" Clint asks confused.
"As in the Devil's right hand man?" Natasha questions. Scott nods.
"Why does the Devil need a right hand man?" Bruce asks.
"To protect Ira." Fury chirps in.
"Lucifer made a contract with Scott saying that he will be Ira's personal bodyguard on Earth whenever he can't be there." Morgan explains.
"Interesting." Tony stated, rubbing his chin. "Let me guess, you are immortal as well?" Scott nodded.
"I guess being immortal is the new thing now..." Natasha observed.
"Anyways...." Fury butted in "We need to reclaim the tesseract in order for Joseph to do his thing." I nod. Suddenly pain seared through my body. Screaming, I fall to the ground writhing in pain.
"What's happening?" Frigga questions. I yank my sleef and find my time decreasing at a rapid rate. My eyes widen when they stop at 10 hours. 10 hours. 10 hours till I fade away.
"What the hell is that?" Bruce pointed out.
"It's a timer." Scott informs.
"Timer?" Thor asks
"According to this, it seems Master Joseph has 10 hours to live." Scott continues. Everyone gasps.
"But how?" Natasha asks
"When the angel took the tesseract, he basically altered fate. The tesseract and the casket of ancient winters is needed to bring Sir Loki and Lady Ira back. But since we don't have the tesseract, that means Lady Ira and Sir Loki won't come back. And if they don't come back, it means Joseph will cease to exist." Scott explains.
"So basically, if we don't get the tesseract back, Joseph can die?" Steve asks.
"Yes." Scott answers grimly.
"Oh dear." Laufey says exasperated.
