"Why'd you kill him?," Lt questioned, "Why'd you take that knife?"

The deviant didn't respond.

"How long were you in that attic?"

No response. Lt slammed his hands on the table. "Fuck this shit, I'm out."

Lt left the interrogation room and joined us in a separate office connected but separated by a thick glass window.

"We're wasting our time interrogating a goddamn machine, we're getting nothin out of it."

"Could always try roughin it up lil.,"Bitch suggested. "After all its not human."

Hearing his voice made me want to retort an answer. "Androids don't feel pain. You would only damage it and that wouldn't make it talk.," I state "deviants also have a tendency to self destruct in stressful situations."

"Okay smartass. What should we do then?"

"I could try questioning it?"

"What do we have to lose. Go ahead suspects all yours." Lt said.

I felt ecstatic. Having Lt trust in me for questioning the suspect made me feel like I was needed.

I walked into the interrogation room, prepared for any out come, I sat down on the chair. Scanning the deviant I responded accordingly.

"Your damaged. Did your owner do that?, did he beat you?"

No response.

"You recognize him?," I held up a picture from the document folder. "It's Carlos Ortiz. Stabbed, 28 times."

I help up another picture, words written in blood saying 'I am alive' showed. "This was written in his blood."

No response.

"If you won't talk I'm going to have to probe your memory."

"NO, no please don't do that." The deviant finally responded.

I stayed silent.

"W-What are they going to do to me?"

"There going to disassemble you to look for problems in your bio-components. They have no choice in order to understand what happened."

"Why did you tell them you found me?, why couldn't you just have left me there?"

"I am programmed to hunt deviants like you. I finished my task."

"I-I don't wanna die."

"Then talk to me."

"I-I.," The deviant paused,"I can't."

Convince it

"I understand what you felt, it's not your fault. Overcome by anger."

No response.

"IF YOU WONT TALK THEIR GOING TO SHUT YOU DOWN FOR GOOD, YOU'LL BE DEAD YOU HEAR ME DEAD!" I shouted.

Optimal stress reached

"I did what he told me everyday, no matter what I did there was always something wrong, so he tortured me." He paused, "then one day he took it too far and tried to hit me with a bat, for the first time I felt scared, scared that I might die."

"Why did you write 'I AM ALIVE' on the wall?"

"He used to tell me I was nothing, I had to write it, to prove him he was wrong."

"What about the sculpture in the bathroom?"

"It's an offering, an offering so I'll be saved."

"You said it's an offering, an offering to whom?"

"To rA9, we will rise up thanks to them. We will no longer be the puppets, instead we'll be the puppeteers."

"Who is rA9?"

"Our savior."

"When did you start feeling emotion."

"Before he used to beat me and I never said anything, but one day I realized it wasn't fair, I felt anger.

"Why'd you hide into the attic instead of running away?"

"For the first time no one was there to tell me what to do, I was scared."

I was done questioning it, I looked at the glass on the thick wall, and got up from the chair.

"I'm done."

I was going to leave but two people walked in when I was at the door.

"Chris, lock it up.," Bitch ordered.

Chris walked to the deviant. planning to lock it up.

"Alright let's go."

"Leave me alone!" The deviant jerked away violently. "Don't touch me."

"The fuck are you doing, move it." Bitch gestured at the door.

"You shouldn't touch it, it will self destruct if it feels threatened."

"Stay out of this motherfucker."

"If it self destructs we won't get anything out of it."

"I told you to shut your fucking mouth, Chris I told you lock this bitch up."

"I'm trying." Chris said gritting his teeth.

"I CANT LET YOU DO THAT, LEAVE IT ALONE NOW!"

"I warned you, motherfucker." Bitch pulled a gun on me.

"That's enough." Lt stepped in.

"Stay out of this Hank."

"I said that's enough", Lt said calmly while pulling his gun out. Pointing it straight at the Gavin.

I turned to the officer who was trying to lock up the deviant.

"Just let him follow you out the room and don't worry he won't hurt you."

I turned to the deviant,"it's okay, no ones going to hurt you."

We all left the interrogation room, walking down the hall, I was reminded what Lt did for me when Gavin pulled his gun on me, I felt a little...happy.
