To the destination

Friday, 7:00 am

I had 'slept' on the couch as I was told by Lt, he wasn't comfortable with an android watching him while he slept. I thought that statement was bogus because why would he assume that I wanted to watch him while slumbered.

But here I am waiting until Lt wakes up, maybe he'll take me with him to go wherever Debrah wanted him to go. I mean I am supposed to follow Lt wherever he goes no questions asked. That was part of the mission I was assigned with, I'm not going to fail just because Lt wants to be secretive.

A loud buzzing noise had made me trail off my thought and my head immediately turned towards the source, it seemed to be coming from Lt's living courters. A loud groan can be heard and a serious of unintentional (I assumed) bangs.

He rushed out his room, into the bathroom and immediately started the water. Shutting the door behind him I could no longer see what Lt was doing.

I signed he was getting ready for his day out with Deborah. I tried to find something to occupy my mind from her. I decided that it would be best if I put myself in 'sleep mode' as like any normal android with no orders do.

shutting my eyes, my limbs turned to jelly and I fell asleep.

Rumble rumble BANG

My eyes had shot open from the sudden sound, my body had turned tense, and I was on my guard, but I was just met with the view of inside Lt's  car, sitting in the backseat my head must've  been on the window, the noise was probably made due to the potholes causing the car to vibrate and dip.

My eyes trailed to the two front seats, Lt was driving and Deborah was in the passenger. Lt turned around when the light turned red.

"Well good fuckin morning sleeping beauty. Thought androids didn't sleep." Lt said

"They don't, I just put myself in rest mode."
I responded

"Sounds like sleep to me. I had to haul your ass in here, Made me five minuets late to go pick up Ms. Deborah here."

I rolled my eyes as she turned around and gave me a half assed wave. Oops did I really just think that, dear reader, don't mind my language. Dear I've only been hanging around Lt for a couple of hours and his truck mouth has already gotten to me.

"Sorry Deborah, for making Lt late."

"No worries." She said as she turned back around.

The light was green now and the vehicle started moving.

Looks like I am coming along on their 'date'.
