*The next morning, Mariette's pov*
I woke up to my alarm clock and turned it off. I looked at the time and saw I had 15 minutes before school starts. I panicked and rushed to get ready. I did my normal routine and rushed out the door.
I somehow managed to get there before the bell rang and walked into class. I saw alya and Niño, but no Adrian. I sat down and asked alya where Adrian and ash was.
"I don't know gurl. They hasn't came in yet."
"I know as much as you two dudettes,"Niño comments.
"I hope they're OK,"I muttered and thought about last night.
*Time skip after school*
It was the end of class and neither of them showed. So, I decided to go and check on them. Alya and Niño with me of course. We walked to Adrian's door and pressed the door bell. The little camera thing came and looked at us.
"Adrian wasn't at school. So, we were wondering if we could see him,"Niño said for me, knowing I'll not make sense.
They let us in a few minutes later. We saw his father on the steps.
"You say he was not in school?"
We nodded and soon found out that he wasn't home as well. We nodded and headed back out.
"Where could he be,"Niño muttered.
"I don't know, but I hope he's OK."
With that we went back to school
*Night at the Eiffel tower*
I sat Waiting for chat. I hope he comes.
"Hey, M'lady."
I jumped and looked at his emerald green eyes before relaxing.
"Hey chat. You actually came."
"Of course, M'lady. I missed you these couple of days."
"Me too,kitty. Anyway, to the point of why I asked you here."
We sat down on the edge and he urged me to continue.
"Do you know about a paw necklace on a silver chain?"
"Hmmmm. A paw necklace? Doesn't ring a bell."
"Don't lie. Your kwami said he saw files on a paw necklace."
Chats eyes then widen with alarm as he stared at me.
"What!? Oh, yeah. I remember. I was looking up necklaces for a friend as a thank you gift. Nothing suspicious about that."
"Chat...why are you lying? What are you afraid of not telling me?"
"It's....it's not what you think."
"Chat, is there another kwami out there?"
