"Candice if you don't hurry up in there, YOU WILL GET LEFT!" "I'm coming, I'm coming", I yelled back as I touched up my makeup...again. I can understand Tiana though, we've been waiting for tonight for months now and we are pretty hyped now that it's finally here. "Ok I'm ready! Let's do this damn thang" I told Tiana as the door to the adjoining room opened. "Moonshine Jungle baby" Sabrina slurred as she and Marie came in our room."Are you two ready? It's like a fifteen minute walk to the venue" Marie says. "Will you stop being a mom for five minutes and have some fun with your girls please?" I asked. "It's Turn Up time" I said pouring shots for the four of us. "Brina looks like she's turned enough for all of us right now, give her half a shot", Tiana whispered to me. I looked over at Sabrina trying to fix the strap on her sandals with extreme effort and decided Tiana was right.
"Okay, okay a toast", Tiana started. "To an amazing night" she continued, "to my girls, AND, to Candy's divorce being final and her moving on to the next chapter in her life!" "CHEERS" "Gee thanks" I said. It is true that the last few months have been really hard. Ending a marriage wasn't really my idea of fun and having it thrown in my face tonight wasn't really what I wanted. But I knew they meant well. "You know I didn't mean it like that", Tiana said as if reading my mind. "I just want you to be okay and be happy again." "And we all know Baby Bruno can fix anything" Sabrina squealed. "Let's go party with the Hooligans!" I said wanting to leave my relationship problems behind. And the four of us were off.
The show was absolutely amazing. We sang, danced, and screamed our heads off the entire time. "A-Ma-Zing!" I yelled as we tried to calm ourselves with our bags full of merch' and Jungle confetti. "Now let's figure out how we can get close to the guys" Marie said. "Look" Tiana said pointing to Ryan gathering a gang of girls. "Let's just follow the hoe train" I said. "Everybody move out, towards the exits please". "Well there goes that idea" Sabrina said. We made our way to the first exit we saw in order to avoid most of the crowd coming from the upper levels of the arena. "We need to find the buses" I said. "Hey, if you take the stairs here to the left all the buses are parked right over there", I heard. I looked up and it was one of the ladies working the venue I assumed from her red polo shirt. "Really", Marie asked. "Yeah they are all right down there" the lady pointed. "Thanks." We made our way to where she pointed. "Y'all think she was lying just to get us out of the building?" Sabrina asked."I don't know, I guess we just have to find out" I answered.
We made our way around the corner and whoo-hoo! We found the tour buses. As we made our way to the corner where the parking lot was located, we were greeted by another red shirt. "You guys can't come this way; you have to stay on that side of the street." Perfect I thought, we obviously were in the right place! We decided to just stand around for a while and stake out the place after confirming with the red shirt that the venue had showers. We knew if we were going to see the guys, we were going to have to wait a while. There were a couple of buses and a semi parked in the lot in front of us, but we could see one bus parked further back on the street that the red shirt was guarding. Marie distracted the red shirt while the rest of us contemplated which bus would the guys be on. After a while, a small crowd had formed on our corner, as well as down the road across the street where the red shirt was trying to send us. "Maybe that's Bruno's bus down there and the rest of the guys will be down here where we are" Tiana suggested. Just as I was about to answer her we see another red shirt coming our way. "You guys, Bruno is already gone, he's already back at the hotel."
