Ryan ran to his car, only to find Matt leaning on it. He wished Matt didn't react like that, and Matt wished the same thing. He felt embarrassed, he just had a break down in the damn Target parking lot.
"Matt." Ryan spoke up, standing beside him.
"What.."
"Look at me," Ryan placed his hand under Matt's chin, turning his head towards him. Matt tried to jerk away, but he knew it wouldn't do any good. "Matt, I'm not mad."
Matt sighed in relief, nodding his head slowly. "Thank God, I really didn't want this to ruin anything."
"Just tell me this, because I can't tell what's a joke anymore, is it real or not?" He asked, he knew Matt was a big jokester. Matt would never lie to Ryan though, they were best friends after all.
"It's not a joke." He said truthfully.
"Okay," Ryan nodded. "you're really strong for trying to come out though, y'know that?"
"Thank you," Matt softly smiled. "I understand if you don't uhhh.. y'know, feel the same way."
Ryan shrugged. "Gimme some time."
Matt nodded, and shifted his position a little. "Sounds good." He paused looking around. "Can we maybe leave? I kinda started a scene here and don't want people lookin' at me funny."
Ryan laughed and unlocked his car. "Let's get outta here."
The two jumped into Ryan's car, buckling up because safety first!! Ryan decided to drive to Matt's place, they could watch a few movies there or something.
