When the two reached Matt's place, it felt a bit awkward. Though Ryan said everything was okay, it didn't feel right. Matt knew something was wrong, he just didn't want to say anything. They walked up to Matt's door and Ryan let the lanky boy go first, "Ladies first." He joked, Matt glared at him jokingly and walked through the door. Maybe Matt was just thinking too much, Ryan seemed fine. Maybe it was himself who wasn't feeling right. Maybe he felt guilty for having romantic feelings for his best friend that he's known for years. Matt shrugged the thought out of his mind, he wanted to watch this movie without any stress. The two boys entered Matt's living room, Ryan plopped onto the couch while Matt searched for a movie.
"Look at this oldie," Matt pulled out a movie. "The Hitcher."
"You weren't even born in the 80's." Ryan replied, taking a closer look at the movie.
"You weren't either! I'm sure you watched it though!" Matt huffed.
"It's been a while," Ryan waved his hand. "put that shit on."
While Matt got the movie set up Ryan made some popcorn, grabbing other snacks that looked good as well.
"Dude," Matt shouted so Ryan could here him. "this movie has gore and shit."
"So? I'm not gonna throw up. I'm sure you will though." Ryan chuckled and went back to getting snacks.
"R-Ryan!" Matt blushed in embarrassment. Once he got the movie on he plopped onto the couch and waited for Ryan. He came waddling over with multiple snacks and two bottles of coke. Once Ryan was in a comfortable position Matt played the movie, already grabbing popcorn.
"Y'know," Matt chomped onto his popcorn. "Jim Halsey is kinda cute."
Ryan turned to him. "You watched any of the actors other movies?" He asked.
"Yeah, The Outsiders. In 7th grade or something."
"I think we all did."
The two didn't talk much during the movie, they would either laugh or cringe at what was going on in the movie.
Once the credits began rolling the two were already asleep. Matt was leaning on Ryan, and Ryan was leaning on the side of the couch.
