Zack

"It's... it's okay."

She had the most breathtaking voice I have ever heard. Now, I'm no softy, fall-in-love-at-first-sight kinda dude. But she touched me like no other. Why am I like this? I shouldn't be, I sound like some teenage fan fiction. Okay, okay, I'm being silly. I need to help her.

"I am so sorry. so, so, so sorry. Let me buy you a shirt, please."

"What!?" She sounded a little shocked that I was offering to get her a new garmet because I have potentially ruined her shirt, a shirt that she probably loved.

"No, no, it's fine. You don't have to buy me a new shirt," she said with a laugh. "This is just an old shirt from when I was in college." She looked down at her shirt and then back up at me.

I gave her a small smile. "Are you sure?" I asked her and gave her an apologetic face. "I feel absolutely horrible about your shirt. I mean, we don't even know each other, I spilled your warm coffee all over you... I.. Really." I motioned to her shirt and she extended her petite hand.

"I'm Eliza," she said and I took her hand in mine.

"Zack," I said happily.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Zack, but I really don't enjoy having a coffee stain." I could tell in her eyes that she was being sencere and I let her go without a number or anything really to let her keep in contact with me.

"So hold on, you met a girl?" Tony was only giving me shit but I nodded anyways.

"Sure did. She was completely beautiful, Tony. She could stop traffic, she's so beautiful."

Luke nearly spit his drink out of his mouth. "oh my gosh, Zack. You meet one girl and now you're convinced she's some goddess."

"Coming from a kid who's in love with his car, I really don't want to hear it." I stood up and went to my bunk, calling it an early night and thinking about how weird today really was.

okay so super short chapter, but don't kill me. I need to warm up to all of this.
