Every Breath Is A Bomb

There's a black crow sitting across from me. His wiry legs are crossed. He's dangling my keys, he even fakes a toss. Whatever could it be that has brought me to this loss?

"Bruh, this is why your mom doesn't love you" I muttered angrily over the phone to Scott.

I could practically hear his eyes rolling, "That's not funny. Tell Derek to stop biting innocent teenagers."

"No. I like Isaac. He's nice," I see Derek beginning to stir. "Gotta go, Scott. Don't bother Isaac!"

"Where the hell are you anyway, Rid?"

I pressed my teeth together and made a hissing noise, "Oh... S-scott... I think we're breaking up.... bye!" I quickly hung up.

My mate stretches next to me as he wakes. His muscles tightening and releasing, his eyes opening to admire me.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"Shouldn't you be at school," His morning voice rough.

I giggle, "It's Saturday. But, I do have homework that I could definitely use your help on."

He grabs my notebook that's on the side table. The majority of my belongings are here seeing as I spend as much time as possible with him.

"Addiction," Derek starts with a chuckle.

I climb over and straddle his waist. Keep in mind I'm only in my underwear but, also keep in mind, that I was wearing this exact same thing when he told me what mates were to begin with.

"You to me," I grin.

He smiles up at me, "I don't remember Webster's Dictionary saying that."

I shake my head, "I do, very distinctly."

"Nicotine," He laughs. "What the hell are these vocabulary words? Are you taking English at a middle school?"

I slap his chest playfully, "Don't make fun."

"Do you even know how to pay taxes?"

"Noooooo but Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell."

Derek shakes his head again, "School has become useless."

"Hey, you were in high school not that long ago."

"Yeah, but I think I knew how to pay taxes when I was fifteen."

"Wow, my bad, I had no idea I was sharing a bed with Einstein," I rolled my eyes.

He laughed. I loved seeing him laugh. His laugh was definitely something I wouldn't mind seeing again.

"You should laugh more," I told him.

"You should wear this more," Derek counters and gestures to my tank and panties.

I blush, placing my forehead against his. When coming just centimeters away from a kiss, the door bursts open. I slide of Derek quickly and get under the blanket.

"Isaac, I told you to knock! What are you doing here?" Derek growls as he pulls the sheets up to cover any important parts. Those were his to see.
