Jade Frost: Guardian Of Fun

Chapter 4

Jade and the others were perplexed.

"What?" North said. The nightmares were screeching around them. Jade blocking some with her ice and Sandy using an umbrella. Jade saw the Nightmares flying over to the Tooth fairies, who were flying, most of them being eaten.

"They're taking the Tooth Fairies!" she shouted.

She saw one fairy that was not being eaten. Quickly, Jade saved the little creature and held her in her hands. Jade landed back and opened her palms. She saw that the fairy was different from her other sisters. Rather than having a blue feather in the middle, this one had a yellow one just like Toothiana.

She didn't know the name, but Jade decided to call her "Baby Tooth."

"Hey Baby Tooth, are you alright?" Jade asked. The small fairy nodded, Jade glad that she was, but she looked a little exhausted.

A nIGHTMARE was coming close to them.

"Here take over!" North yelled to Jade and thrusted the reins into her hands.

"But I don't know how to drive!" Jade shouted. Bunny was even more nervous than before.

"Come on, frostbite, if you can fly by yourself, you can fly a sleigh!" Bunny shouted. Jade glared at him when he called her that name. She just shook her head and actually proved she was good at it. And it was because she was angered by his nickname for her. North took out his swords and used it to sleigh one of the nightmares, causing containers of teeth to fall into the sleigh.

"They're also stealing the teeth!" Bunny shouted, Sandy noticed the sand, something that was familiar about it.

Jade was briefly distracted.

"Jade, look out!" North shouted. Jade saw that they were almost colliding with a pole. She quickly pulled the reins on the reindeer, but suddenly, the Sleigh landed ungracefully and the Guardians all climbed out. They saw Tooth frantically running. Jade couldn't help but feel sad for her."

"Tooth!" North shouted. He Sandy, and Bunny went up to comfort her. "Are you alright?"

"They- they took my fairies, and the teeth, all of them. Everything is gone. Everything..." Tooth said. Her wings dropped as she sat down defeated. Baby Tooth came out and flew to her mother. Tooth was happy that one of them was there.

"Ah! Oh thank goodness, one of you is alright." She said and pet Baby tooth's feathers back. Suddenly, a sinister laugh erupted in the palace.

"I have to say... this is very, very exciting," said Pitch's voice. "The Big Four, all in one place. I'm a little starstruck." The Guardians and Jade looked up to see Pitch was on top. "Did you like my show on the globe, North? Gotcha all together, didn't I?"

"Pitch! You have got 30 seconds to return my fairies-" Toothiana shouted, flying up to confront him, but Pitch was already at another area in the room.

"Or what? You'll stick a quarter under my pillow?" Pitch asked.

"Why are you doing this?" North asked.

"Maybe, I want what you have: To be believed in!" Pitch said. Jade stood there shocked, taking it all in. Pitch went into the shadows, jumping down. "Maybe I'm tired of hiding under beds!"

"Maybe that's where you belong!" Bunny yelled.

"Tah! Go suck an egg, rabbit." Pitch said from underneath, and disappearing before Bunny could strangle him. Jade continued looking around.

"Hang on. Is that... Jade Frost? Heh, hehehe. Since when are you all so chummy?" Pitch asked. Jade looked for the source.

"We're not!" Jade said.
