Chapter 5 - Tooth race

The chase was on. Jade and the guardians made their way to many houses, taking teeth from behind the children's pillows. Tooth was losing power fast, meaning the guardians would have to work fast all in one didn't think this was going to be easy. It was actually quite hard because they had to cover at least six continents and millions of kids like Tooth had told them. She was having a rather fun time with this whole collecting teeth thing, even though she thought it wasn't easy. Actually, it was more fun to have this game with Bunnymund.

"Hop to it, Rabbit! I'm five teeth ahead!" she shouted, flying through the wind .

"Yeah right! Look, I'd tell ya to stay out of my way, Frost, but really what's the point? Cuz you ain't be able to keep up anyway!" Bunny said.

"Is that a challenge, Bunnymund?" she asked.

Bunny was actually starting to kind of like the kid, but he decided to tease her a little bit. She had spunk, Bunny had to admit, especially when it came to this.

"You don't wanna race a rabbit, Kid," he told the teenaged spirit.

"is it a race? Is it a race? This is going to be epic!" North shouted as he jumped from one chimney to the other.

"4 bicuspids over there!" Tooth shouted. "An incisor two blocks east! Is that a molar? They're everywhere!"

In her excitement, she accidentally collided with a ad board. Jade was above.

"You okay?" Jade asked.

"I'm fine!" Tooth said. "Sorry, it's been a really long time since I've been out in the field."

"How long is a long time?" Jade asked.

"A couple hundred years, give or take?" Tooth answered. She gasped when she saw a child sleeping with a tooth under her pillow. Jade and Baby Tooth gave each other weird looks as to why Tooth was getting to excited for a tooth.

Jade wanted to get into a house, but was startled by Bunny, who took a tooth and smirked at her with a small chuckle. Jade gave an unsatisfied look and blasted Bunny with a blast of cold ice, causing him to cry in agony.

North was excited, grabbing two teeth from behind twins' pillows.

"Twins!" North said, and kissed them.

"Oh, jackpot!" Bunny cried, looking at the collection of teeth in his paw and looked at the trophies. And then at the kid. "Looks like you're a bit of a brumby, eh mate?"

North came into a little girl's room and chuckled lightly.

"Is piece of pie- woah!" North fell into Bunny's hole. They both looked into each other's eyes, awkwardly. Sandy sees them struggling and takes the small tooth underneath the girl's bed.

"Dedededede! That's my tooth! Sandy! Sandy!" north yelled, but Sandy just silently laughed with the tooth in tow.

Jade secretly lay in wait and lets Bunny slip from the trail of ice. She had it for a brief moment, but Sandy stole it. Jade sighed, allowing her friend to take the tooth instead. Line Division Tooth and Baby Tooth are together. She went under the pillow for a tooth, but sees a mouse instead. To Tooth's shock, Baby Tooth immediately went an attacked the mouse, beating him up agianst the wall. Tooth grabbed Baby Tooth. by her wings.

"Woah woah woah! Take it easy there, champ! He's one of us! Part of the European Division. Ça va?"

The mouse spoke in French, swearing while Tooth was surprised that a mouse could have such colourful language.

North was going down the chimney, but down below, Bunny lit a match on the fireplace.

"Ho ho ho." Bunny said with a smirk, and North crying from the explosion.
