Jade Frost laughed out loud, having fun time in her life, She froze a water fountain, that froze a boy's tongue. His friends laughed Jade created ice for the rude Mailman, watching him land on the ground. Jade did not see the kid who was feeding his goldfish or the kid who lost his homework, she laughed.
"Now that was fun," Jade said. She yelled, "Hey wind, take me home!"
The wind blew in her face and guided her back to Burgess, the place she re-awoke. She made sure it was snow day for one of her favorite children, Jamie Bennett. She loved the boy the minute she saw him (you know, in a sisterly way. She saw the boy lose his book. Jade looked at the cover and chuckled at the boy's book about Bigfoot.
"Huh, that looks interesting. Good book? she said, knowing full well that he couldn't hear her.
"Hey guys, wait up! Are you guys
coming to the egg hunt Sunday?" Jamie asked. Jade falling behind.
" Yeah, free candy!" Caleb said.
I hope we can find the eggs with all this snow!" Claude cried. The kids made it to Jjamie's house.
"Whoa, it says here that they found Big Foot hair samples and DNA, in Michigan. That's like, super close!"
"Here we go again." said claude.
"You saw the video too Claude, he's out there!" Jamie said, getting his sled
"That's what you said about aliens," said Caleb.
"And the Easter Bunny."
"Wow, the Easter Bunny is real!" Said Jamie.
"Oh he's real alright. Real annoying, real grumpy, and really full of himself," Jade muttered, walking on the fence .
"Come on, you guys believe anything." said Caleb.
"EASTER BUNNY! HOP-HOP-HOP!" cried Jamie's younger sister, Sophie cried with joy, but she fell on the ground, her blond hair getting on her face. "Ow!" she cried.
"Mom! Sophie fell again!" Jamie said.
"You okay, Soph?" Mrs. Bennett said. She was a single mother who had Jamie's brown hair and eyes. Jamie's mom heard that they were going to sled.
"Jamie, hat? We don't want Jade Frost nipping at your nose," Mrs. bENNETT SAID.
"I never nip kids' nose," Jade thought to herself.
"Who's Jade Frost?" Jamie said. Jade raised an eyebrow.
"No one, honey. It's just an expression," Mrs. Bennett said.
"Hey!" Jade snapped, but it wasn't Bennett's fault that she didn't know that Jade was sitting there, so she let that slide, but Jamie's comment made her want to cry.
"Who's Jade Frost?" Jade repeated. She took her hand full of snow and took one breath to turn a white snowball to a blue clow. She threw it to Jamie, and it landed on his head.
"Okay, who threw that?" Jamie said. Jade laughed and landed.
"Well, wasn't bigfoot kiddo," said Jade.
Jamie scans the horizon for the culprit. His eyes land on a couple kids making snow barricades. Monty with his back turned suddenly gets a snowball to the back of the head, knocking him face first into the ground.
"Ow!" Monty cried. Jade hit Pippa with a snow ball.
"Jamie Bennett! No fair!" she shouted.
"You struck first!" Jamie said. Jade continued hitting the other kids. The snowball fight continued, when suddenly ,Pippa took a snow ball and hit Cupcake, a gigantic third grader. She growled when she turned.
