"We're home from the Bahamas" oh great "hey, home so soon?" I hug my mom and ignore my stepfather
"Yea, uh Dave wanted to see you" lol mkay
"Cool, um I kinda just woke up, Shawn stayed with me cuz I was lonely and Caitlin just came"
"Okay, I'm going to unpack with Dave and go to my sisters house for a little, you guys are welcome to come if you're not doing anything already" my mom politely says
"No thanks, we are just gonna stay" I tell her as an excuse for her to go
She walks out "so, is everything ok Nicole" Shawn puts his hand on my shoulder looking at me like he's in a trance "uh yea, let's eat something quick"
"Nah, let's go to breakfast" Caitlin insists "sure"
"Nicooooooooooleeee" my little brother screams running from the bathroom he rushed to when he got home "joe, how was vac? I missed you"
"It was good, I missed you, I see Shawn over there, ooh and Caitlin" he says playing with my long dirty blonde hair
"Yea, they came to visit cuz I thought the monsters were going to come" I say as his eyes widen up
"Oh really, the blue ones with spots on his back?" "yea, you should hurry along and fight those monsters on your game thing" he runs to his room screaming "FOR NICOOOLLE"
"Your brother is so cute" "yea, when he isn't jumping on top of you all day" I say as we walk out of the house
