Dear Diary,I woke up this morning, feeling really unwell. I was confused, the other day I felt perfectly fine. Anyway, I went downstairs, my eyelids felt very heavy - I was still tired. Mother asked if I was ok, I said that I felt unwell and sleepy, she sent me back up to bed and I immediately fell asleep.
I woke up again, feeling a lot better then I had done earlier. Father is at work, my brother and sister are at school, and mother must have gone to the shop. I went downstairs to get a drink of water, and the cupboard was ajar...
I was very confused as to why something was in the cupboard, mother only keeps cups stored in the cupboard, and it looked like a box. It's like it was dragging me closer...wanting me to open it...
No one was around, so I opened the cupboard fully, reached in and pulled out a brown box, it was locked.
I was scared mother was going to turn up any minute, so I took the box upstairs to my bedroom and hid it in my wardrobe. I need to find a way to get the key, I think it's in mother and fathers room, in a drawer.
I better fall asleep, so mother doesn't think I've been up to anything.
I'll open the box tomorrow, I'm actually really nervous.Bye diary,
Elizabeth
