Dear Diary,

After I had finished writing my entry yesterday, I went downstairs and asked mother about going to school. I was very nervous, as she was scared I was going to get bullied. Luckily, she said yes!

So, today was my first day of school, it was actually quite enjoyable, schools aren't as scary as I thought. Everyone seemed nice and kind, no one was horrible to me - my teacher is also very nice, her name is Mrs. Clark, she's very pretty, she had her hair down, her blue eyes gleamed and the sun reflected on her skin.

When I got home, mother and father asked how it was, I told them it was great. My lessons were fun - there were a few things I didn't quite understand, but I enjoyed learning something new.

After talking to my mother and father for 30 minutes, I made my way back to my room - it was very open-spaced, with pink walls, a lovely cherry blossom carpet and a Queen sized bed, because mother says I'm a lady. I'm not sure what that's meant to mean, but oh well.

I found my sister in my room, sobbing her eyes out. I had asked her what was wrong, but she wouldn't tell me, so I started to get curious. I led her back to her room, it was late anyway - her clock read 9:53. I advised her to go to bed and said goodnight, I got into my pyjamas, and headed into bed.

Father's shouting up the stairs, telling me to go to bed, I must go now but I'll obviously write more tomorrow.

Goodnight diary,
Elizabeth
