Want is as deep as the ocean and as rich with life
As unexplored as the Mariana Trench
Where one-eyed lizards and three-clawed crabs dwell
and wait to grab onto any viable meal
The tide rises and falls
Bringing in new
Leaving some behind
Earthquakes shake the sea floor
Lightning strikes wave crests
Hurricanes rage overhead
but the life submerged below
Prospers unbothered by the storm
