A head slammed into Arianna's suddenly, knocking the knives out of her hands and onto the floor.

Despite being disoriented, Liz groped the floor around her, a glass shard pricking her skin. She clutched the shard in her hand and slammed her arm forwards, the glass piercing Arianna's chest.

Arianna's eyes instantly opened, trying to drive out the blurry and distorted vision clouding her head.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Arianna screamed at Liz.

This newfound sensation flooded through Liz - her will to survive stronger than ever.

Determination flooded Liz's movements, where suddenly in a flash, Arianna was on the ground, clutching herself.

Liz's eyes blinked rapidly as she stared at the body beneath her, unmoving. An urge from her gut forced her to feel for a pulse, to actually see if she had done the deed she thought.

A light beat of her heart was felt through her tough, calloused skin. Liz noticed now how many scars had been etched into her body, proving that she really was the murderer she had thought. A shiver ran through her spine thinking about what could've happened, and how she might have taken a life.

Blood seeped out of a wound on Arianna's temple. Liz knew that death would be near for Arianna and that there was nothing that Liz could do for her potential killer. She needed medical attention.
