Around noon, I'm helping John and Martha pack their stuff into the back of their truck, because they're going on a week long trip to visit Martha's sister up North.

"You sure you two will be fine here?" Martha asks Clark and me. Clark nods,"don't worry, Mom, we'll be fine."

"Okay," Martha sighs. "I just worry." I smile,"don't worry. You just enjoy your trip." Both Martha and John give me a hug goodbye, then say goodbye to Clark. John says something to Clark, but I can't tell what, not even by reading his lips. It must be a secret.

"Bye you two!" Martha says out the truck window, as they pull out of the gravel driveway.

"Be safe!" I call, waving, even as the truck disappears around the corner.

Over the course of the first three days, Clark and I take care of the farm, while his parents are away. There's a lot of things we have to do, but there's two of us so it's easy.

In the morning we water the vegetable garden, and pick the ones that are ready. After that, we tend to the chickens, checking for eggs and making sure they have enough food and water.

After lunch, we work with the cattle, getting them to move into a different field, so John can mow and bail the cut grass when he gets back.

By time dinner rolls around, we're both exhausted, so instead of cooking, we order take out.

"My vote's on Chinese," I call through the guest room door.

"I'll call it in," Clark's reply comes from the bathroom across the hall. I smile, changing out of my tank top,"you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure."

"Cause I can call the place," I tell him, leaving the room. "I'm done before you are." At the same time, Clark comes out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around his waist. I turn bright red, looking away. Clark clears his throat, and I look back at him.

"You're in my way," he tells me. I turn brighter red,"o-oh. . . Sorry." I start to head downstairs, the blush staying on my cheeks. There are multiple menus on the table, so I sort through them, until I find the one for the Chinese place. I decide on smorgasbord, because it has the most variety of food. I call in and order the food, just as Clark is coming down the stairs. I raise a finger at him, and then when I'm done, he opens his mouth to speak.

"I was going to order food," he grouches. I stick my tongue out at him,"well, I did it, so nah." Clark smirks a little,"do that again. I dare you." I stick my tongue back out, because why not? I'm an ornery person.

Clark comes over to me, and bites my tongue, making me flinch. The smirk is still on his face,"I dared you." I smack his shoulder,"you butthead! That hurt!" He laughs, the smirk breaking into a grin, before he tackles me to the couch. I give a small squeal, trying to push him off of me.

"Clark Joseph Kent!" I yell. "You better not be trying to pull anything!" He looks down at me,"I'm not."

"You promise?" I ask.

"Promise."

By time the food comes, I'm bright red in embarrassment. Clark was showing off while we waited, and it was cute to me. We ended up kissing a few times, and it made my face feel hot. What can I say? He's a good kisser!

"Thank you," I hear Clark say, then he comes back into the living room carrying a box full of Chinese take out boxes.

"I'll get forks," I say, getting up from the couch. He nods, heading into the kitchen, so I follow him, digging forks from the silverware drawer.

"Okay, we have two boxes of orange chicken, a box of vegetables in some sort of sauce-"

"That's chicken chow yuk, Clark."

"Ok, well, that doesn't matter. Let's just eat," he laughs, taking one of the forks from me. Clark's about to sit down at the table, when I get an idea.

"How about we watch a movie while we eat?" I suggest. He shrugs,"alright. Do you wanna pick it out?"

"Sure," I say, grabbing the boxes of food. "C'mon, Clark." I can hear him follow me, then strong arms wrap around me, stealing the box.

"Hey!" I protest. He points at me,"hey."

"Don't be smart with me," I tell him, crossing my arms, and pursing my lips in a very three year old way. Clark snags my fork from my, sets everything down on the coffee table, then grabs ahold of my waist.

"CLARK, PUT ME DOWN!" I yell, trying to escape his hold. He turns me, so I'm facing him, his cerulean eyes humorous. I open my mouth to protest, when he kisses me to shut me up. I pull away, my face bright red again.

"Are you just gonna kiss me until I shut up?" I ask, feeling weak at my knees.

"Maybe I will~," he growls in my ear. I shiver, but he sets me down,"now, pick out a movie."

We have tons of leftovers by time Clark and I are done eating.

"Holy shit, I ate too much," I groan, laying my head against him. He pats my shoulder, laughing at me.

"Game over, love," he teases. I look at him, raising my eyebrow,"love? You haven't called me that in a while."

"We're practically" in a relationship now, so I figured I would."

A/N:
So. Here's a bit of info for the next chapter.
It's gonna be smut, just thought I'd tell you guys, instead of it being "oh, they're sleeping with each other. . . Wish I had a warning."
No. There's gonna be smut, and I'm warning you guys.
So, anyways, there will be two versions of chapter 1.6. The almost full smutty version and then the clean version. I'll have the clean version come first, and then the almost full smutty version come after it, so if you don't want to read smut, you can read the clean version.
I guess it's almost like the clean version of a song and the explicit version of a song.
