Harley's POV

I was home. I think I was. It was hard to tell. Everything seemed different since I left. The floors were blue, the ceiling was red and so was the walls. I looked in dismay. The joker stood in my doorway staring at me.
"Somethin wrong?" He asked me.
"What the frick happened here puddin?" I asked him. He ran his hands through his hair and let out a laugh.
"Come here once." He held his hand out. I took it. He took me outside and asked me for his keys. I took them out of my pocket and handed them over. He unlocked the trunk and opened it up. Inside were black and red paint cans. I got exited. He could see it.
"Go ahead."
"Thanks a bunch mistah J!!!!" I took the cans and ran inside. While I was painting, I had a thought. What if I got a new costume? I walked out of my half painted room.
"Where do you think you going?" The joker asked me. I tensed.
"The mall?"
"Take this and be careful." He gave me a black and blue cloak. I put it on and grabbed a cab.
"Where to?"
"The mall please." Did I just say please? He took me to the mall's front. I gave him a 20 dollar bill. He took off afterwards. I walked into the mall. People looked at me in disbelief. I walked the aisles. Skin treatments, medicine, frozen foods, costumes. I walked around a bit
I found a totally adorable jesters outfit. I put a 10 dollar bill on the counter of the cash register. I started to walk out. Maybe I could turn my life around. Be good as a disguise. Yes.
I was stopped down the road by a guard. He said he needed the costume. I hesitated.
"I paid for this fair and square."
"Ma'am please just let me-"
"I tried to be good but I am bad at that too!" My cloak slid of my body. The guard stared in disbelief. I quickly put it back on. I took the costume from his frozen hands and ran. He stared as I walked away. I didn't know how my puddin would react to that. I came home.
"When did I tell you to be home?" The Joker cupped his hands on my face.
"Last I checked you were my Puddin. Not my dad." I pulled away. He let out a laugh. I put on the costume. I walked out in my red and black jesters outfit. The joker stared at me.
"Do you like?" He let out a laugh.
"I love! Were you careful today?"
I froze.
"Yes." I lied.
"I know when you lie to me." Crap.
"What did you do?" I gave in.
"It slid off. Only one person saw me. I swear." He walked up to me.
"One person? They could tell others and then you won't be dead anymore. You see? You should have taken him here so I could kill him."
"Sorry puddin."
