The tiny second graders soon grew into hormonal teens. Nate, Lola, Ty, and Nadeen passed the test of time and was only getting stronger.
Nate started to miss at least one day in the school in his eighth grade year. His family needed some extra money, so he started working in the marketplace(Although he use to steal from the merchants all the time when he was younger.)
Lola's family started to pack up their thing to move out of their house. Her father finally got the job he always wanted in Garden Town. Lola doesn't want to move, but doesn't really have a choice.
Ty and his mother still haven heard from their only. Well, besides the checks the get in the mail every month from him.
Nadeen's sister's boyfriend moved in with her family becuase they got "married". Marrage in the Junkyark just means you leave together. There is no wedding. Just love between two people. Her mom has been expressing her stress more. Nadeen's brother has been out with his friends so much that he is barly home anymore.
They were walking back from school like they usually did. Lola had to stay after school to do some project and told them to go home with out her.
"Is it true that you like some one."
"Maybe," she blushed.
"Who!"
"You only get to ask one question," Nadeen told Ty as she twirled her long brown hair.
Ty rolled his eyes.
"Truth or dare?" Nadeen looked at him waiting to hear his answer.
"Truth."
"Do you want to leave the Junkyark? If yes, why?"
"Two questions in one not fair,but I'll let it slide." He gave her a smile.
"I don't want to leave..I have to." Ty said with seriousness in hi voice.
Nadeen looked at him his concern.
"I have to leave because I have to get my dad back. People from Garden Town took him so he would develop new invetions and stuff." Nadeen noticed the anger in his eyes.
"Will you bring me along? I can help you fight the rich people." Nadeen said while puching the air.

Ty gave her a soft smile mixed with a chuckle then looked her dead in the eyes.
"I'll bring you along but, if you get in my way I'll kill you." Ty answered.
His voice was serious and cold. Nadeen never saw Ty like this. he was always nice to her, well in that best friend way where you mes with each other and stuff.
"Anyway my turn," Ty changed the subject. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to tell me who you like." Ty gave Nadeen a smirk.
"You can't do that!"
"It's a dare isn't it?" Ty reasoned.
"Screw you. Well, if you must know I been crushing on this guy since first grade."
'Oh my Lord, is it me! We met in first grade. I hope it's me,' Ty mind ran wild.
"I like Jack," Nadeen covered her cheeks as her face turned red.

"N-No! Just...uhhh..Got to go. See you tommorow." Ty turned around and ran in the direction of his house.
