Fact #11 One thing about Troy in the film is he's portrayed as this single characteristic bully. I knew going into The Goonies Secret of the Lost Treasure I wanted to develop his character into something more. I wanted to give him backstory and flesh him out. Having lost his mother, a father that is far from loving and a brother to take care of. I wanted to make sure he did what he did because he envied Brand's life, with his perfect family and amazing friends. I thought it was important to flesh this character out and there's so much more to come from him.
