"I love you." He repeated again.
Her face went red as she looked at him. Did she read his lips right? Did he really say that?
"I'm not expecting an answer or anything, I just wanted to let you know." His face was blushed as he looked away to avoid embarrassment.
"Sasuke-kun." She said in an sad voice.
"Why are you crying?" He noticed her trembling.
Was it wrong for him to admit what he felt?
"I'm sorry, it's just.." She wiped her face.
Suddenly the door bell rang.
"I-I'll get it." He went towards the door.
"Sasuke?" The girl smiled while clasping her hands together.
"What?" He replied as her vibe was coming off as annoying.
"It's so nice to finally see you, again!" She hugged him as she made him stumble into their apartment.
He pushed her off as she looked confused.
"Remind me how I know you?" He looked towards Hinata who also had a confused look on her face.
"Itachi sent me!" She smiled.
"What?" He replied.
"He wants to date my sister, but she won't go on a date with him alone due to some past issues. So, he suggested that if they took each other's siblings on a double date then everything will be fine. And well, now I'm here." She crossed her arms.
"What's your name again?" He observed her as her face seemed a bit familiar.
"Izuko." She said as a lightbulb when off in his head.
"Izumi's younger sister?" He said as Hinata felt left out.
"I said as long as it was with you then it's fine." She turned away.
She couldn't read their lips really well but it seemed like they knew each other. She saw him smile a few times also. What was this feeling?
"Itachi has been in love with her for so long." Sasuke said as he remembered his older brother blushing slightly around her.
"Anyways, are you coming or what?" She blushed as Sasuke looked over to Hinata who was silently waiting in the living room coloring in some sort of painting.
"Yea, just give me a second." He said as she nodded and headed outside.
"Hinata, I'll be back." He said as she grabbed the back of his shirt.
"What's wrong?" He turned around where she was looking down.
She let go and looked up to smile at him.
"Have fun." Were the only words that came out of her mouth.
"I will." She let go of his shirt.
Don't go.
He walked out the door.
"So, that girl." Izuko said.
"What about her?" He replied.
"Is she your girlfriend?" She looked away from him.
"No, but." He stopped himself.
"But?" She questioned.
"I want her to be." He smiled as he looked back at their apartment.
"I see, remember when people used to say you'd marry me one day?" She laughed.
"Yea and you used to pretend that we already were." He said as she blushed.
"What if we were?" She whispered.
"What did you say?" He asked as she hit his back softly.
"We're here!" She changed the subject as Sasuke saw Itachi and Izumi awkwardly sitting next to each other on a bench in front of a restaurant.
"Let's get this date started!" Izuko shouted as Izumi and Itachi laughed at her weird facial expression.
He smiled but it wasn't funny enough for him to actually laugh.
Although, he had remembered a similar expression Hinata had made when she tried to cheer him up after his father's passing.
He laughed remembering her stupid face and how much he loved it.
"Sasuke?" Itachi asked.
"Nothing." He cleared his throat.
They all looked at him in confusion before heading inside.
She looked at her mess of a painting.
Why couldn't she paint?
She sighed packing up her art supplies and started to put them away while she went to go wash her hands.
She noticed a dark shade causing the room to get darker. She looked out the window above the kitchen sink.
She stumble back as she saw someone staring at her.
Then,
The lights went out.
