"Idiot." She projected her voice for the first time.

Loud and clear, her words reached him.

Did she just?!

She had started to run away and she left him shocked and herself embarrassed.

I got to go after her.

She walked her way to end of the beach, where it was calm. It was also very lonesome & isolated.

The waves of the ocean hit the sand at the feet where she sat.

Her reflection in the water turned into two as she saw another figure approaching behind her.

"What are you doing here all alone?" She turned around to see Toneri smiling brightly.

Nothing.

"Well, may I join you?" He said as she nodded.

Maybe it wasn't that lonesome after all.

Shouldn't you be celebrating your victory?

"It's not fun since you're not there." He said.

Eh!

Her face turned around as she blushed.

"Say Hinata, do you remember me?" His voice changed as he sounded sad.

She looked up at him a bit confused that even though she couldn't hear him, she could read his face.

I'm sorry, I don't.

"I figured." He sighed as he hugged his knees to his chest like a child.

She moved closer to him as if he knew something about her past, she had to know.

For years, everyone would tell her the same thing. That she was in a car accident but what was the truth? Why would no one tell her, her past.

"H-Hinata?" He said as their shoulders touched.

Please help me, remember you.

"O-Oh okay." He said.

He sighed.

"We were best friends." He continued.

I see.

"You and I, we experienced the same thing." He said.

What? What is he going to say? She thought to herself.

"We were both victims of S-" He said but then felt a grip on his shoulder.

"Can I talk to you for a sec?" He heard as he looked up to see Sasuke.

"Sure." He said with his face down as he walked away into the woods with Sasuke.

"What do you think you're doing?" Sasuke said to him.

"I'm telling her the truth." He said.

"Why?"

"Because she deserves to know! From the looks of it, no one has told her what really happened."

"That is to protect her." Sasuke said.

"Protect her?" Toneri laughed.

"Yes."

"Is it really to protect her or to protect yourself!" Toneri had became enraged with anger as he clenched his fists.

Sasuke stood silent.

"Either you tell her the truth or I will! Because mark my words, Sasuke. The truth will come out and when it does I hope you're ready for the shit storm that is about to be your life!" Toneri punched the tree next to him as he walked away.

Hinata watched as Toneri walked away. Getting up from her spot before feeling arms wrap around her which caused her heart to race.

Please listen to what I have to say.

They sat next to each other.

"By any chance, did you speak to me back there?" He said

"By any chance, did you speak to me back there?" He said.

"Yes." She said.

He looked shocked but remained calm.

"Hinata, I-"

"You used to bully me, right?"

"Did you-"

"Answer me."

"Yes."

"No wonder."

"What?"

"Every time, you're around me you avert your eyes away from me and you look sad."

He stood quiet.

"I'm sorry."

"Tell me the truth, please."

He sighed.

"Hinata, I did used to bully you. In horrible ways, but in return we used to be friends in private. I, I pushed it too far and was upset with you and you ended up trying to take your own life, and I swear I'll never forgive myself for that but that day I took it too far I said horrible things to you and hurt you but those words were never for you because that same day my father had died the day before and I took it out on you. After hearing what you had went through I left. I couldn't face you after what I've done. What I didn't know was that I left you alone and that you were lonely, that you needed someone. When I tried to come back it was too late, I heard you got in a car crash. I ran to the hospital but was only watching from the outside. Your mother was crying because of the note you left saying you couldn't take it anymore and that you're sorry but when you woke up you had forgotten about almost everything and I thought it was better that way."

"Thank you, Sasuke-kun." She bit her lip trying to hold back and smiled.

"How could you be smiling?" He said.

She didn't reply.

"Don't hide behind a fake smile when you're hurting. You've always done that back then, even now! If something is hurting you, speak up. I'm right here." He got angry and mounted on top her, pinning her to the sand.

He watched the tears rolled down the sides of her face.

"Sasuke-kun, you're hurting me."
