Good afternoon (or morning or maybe even evening, depending where you all are.) Another update for you all that I sort of forgot to upload yesterday and only just remembered. I'm a bit slack, sorry :S But anyways - here it is :)

I collapsed down on my bed with a heavy sigh.

Tessa did the same.

“Someone pull my boots off, please.” She groaned after attempting to get her leg up far enough to pull off her wellies without sitting up.

“That was ridiculous.” Clara huffed as she yanked one of Tessa’s wellies off and then the other, “I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love walking and running and stuff, but that – that right then – was just pure torture.”

She was right. When Pike had said ‘I’ll show you the grounds,’ we hadn’t expected (what felt like) a fifty mile hike up hills and down valleys, to the moon and back. Granted, some of the places he’d shown us were pretty cool. The archery range was great and the rocks for bouldering and caving were immense to look at – but the walking part just flat out killed everyone.

Even the Doctor was out of beans afterwards, traipsing back to the activity centre, looking ready to faceplant his bed. But we still had to get dinner.

“I don’t even want to eat.” Tessa continued to moan just as Clara sighed.

“Well I can’t eat your food for you so you’re going to have to try yourself. Come on, just wear some slippers or something.” She motivated.

Tessa sat up in a swift motion without showing any emotion that the move had taken some effort. A perfect sit-up.

I had to roll myself into a sitting position, my stomach muscles not up to that kind of action.

“Slippers sound good,” Molly smiled, kicking off her own boots and replacing them with some fluffy socks over which she wore her slippers.

“I don’t even want to try and find mine.” Hermione said just after entering room. She unwound her maroon and gold scarf which I had noticed was the pattern and same colours as the ones Ron and Harry were wearing. When I’d asked where they’d got them from, they’d said that last year they went to a summer camp that handed them out as a free gift. I was a bit jealous actually – the colours were really rich and the wool was thick. It was hard to believe that someone had just given them away.

Tessa stood by the door, pulling on a grey cardigan.

“Is the heating working in here?” She suddenly asked, rubbing her hands together and breathing into them gently.

“Not sure. It’s a bit cold though, isn’t it?” Clara said looking around herself.

“That’s because the radiator isn’t working – I don’t think.” Hermione said touching the metal and turning the dial a bit. Nothing seemed to happen.

“Maybe it’s broken.” Molly chipped in as she too pulled on a cardigan.

Hermione shrugged, “I’ll tell someone when we go down to dinner.”

“Coming?” Tessa asked, opening the door.

“Yep,” I said grabbing my polka dot jumper and following them from the room as I pulled it over my head.

The dinner hall area was quite busy when we arrived but that was because we weren’t the only school in there.

“Oh boy,” Tessa sighed looking from each of the Chance Thorp faces that peered at us and then strode over to where our tables were allocated.
