Backstory: She learned to fight from her father. She's known Legolas since they were elflings, their fathers were friends with one another so Legolas and Tala saw each other quite often. When they were older, before Tala joined the Company of Thorin Oakinsheild, Legolas confessed that he loved her. Touched by his words Tala told him she felt the same way before she left for her journey. Years later, after the Company disbanded, Tala begins a small journey to the Shire. There, she will celebrate her dear friend Bilbo's birthday.

• Tala wears a wooden ring on her left pinky. Legolas gave it to her when they were children.
