Personality: She's kind, and bubbly when around others, she loves to make people smile because it makes her feel good inside. Though beneath her happiness, hides depression. She has failed so many people as a fairy, and she blames herself for not giving them their happy ending. Despite this, she holds such determination to be better than she was. She'll fight for others until her dying breath if she thinks they deserve to be happy.

Backstory: Back in the Enchanted Forest, she was a bright fairy, and often succeeded whenever she sought someone out to make them happy. Though one day, she had an accident. She was flying back to her home with the other faires when a storm started. She was struck by lighting, and fell from the sky into the sea below. Luckily, she was found by the crew of the Jolly Roger. Killian took pity on the fairy, and kept her there so she could recover. When she did recover, she saw the darkness in Killian's heart, and the intense desire for revenge in his eyes. They became friends of sorts and she tried to steer him off this path so he could find happiness without killing the dark one. She was close too, she almost helped him. But things went horribly wrong when Killian was reminded of his desire for revenge. Out of anger, he told Ayana that he never wanted to see her again, that he didn't want happiness if it meant not getting his revenge. Ayana was hurt at this, because it was her first real failure as a fairy. But she left, and she didn't see Killian again for hundreds of years. After the curse was broken, she saw him again, and it took a very, very long time for their friendship to be rebuilt after everything that happened in the past.

• As a fairy, her magic is quite powerful. And she only uses it for the good of others.

• When everyone goes to Neverland to find Henry, she goes with them. That's where she and Killian really patch things up.

• She hates storms. They always remind her of when she was struck by lighting.

• She has a large scar on her back from the lightning bolt, she always wears clothes to cover it up.
