I finally found my self falling asleep and before I knew it, it was morning. I sighed as I pulled myself out of the bed, and walked over to wash room to clean up. My thoughts began to turn to Sebastian. Was what happened last night a dream? It must have been. I splashed cool water on my face for it suddenly began to feel hot. I asked Meyrin to draw me a warm bath politely which she kindly agreed to and did right away. She was about to leave the room to allow me to bathe but she turned around and said "The young master wishes to see you shortly for breakfast, my lady." She said. I nodded in reply and she left the room.
I slipped into the warm water and enjoyed its warm sensation, when suddenly I felt a stinging on my neck. I placed my hand on my neck and felt a bump. Wha? I decided to leave it alone. Maybe it was a bug bite. I then got out of the bath, thinking it was time for me to get out anyway. I didnt want to keep Ciel waiting, but before Meyrin assited me in getting dressed I looked into the mirror to examine my neck. What I saw clearified my suspitions. It was a bug bite. It must have been that nasty little spider. I dressed in a simple blue gown with long sleeves and quickly left, down the stairs to the dinning room where Ciel was waiting for me, Sebastian by his side.
"Good morning, ____" Ciel said as he sipped a cup of tea. I nodded. "Morning Ciel, Sebastian." I took my seat and casually glanced at Sebastian who seemed to be avoiding my gaze. Was it a dream? It felt so real.... I shook my head. "Is everything alright?" Ciel asked. I fake smiled. "Yeah, yeah everything is fine." Ciel seemed sceptical but nodded and took another sip of tea. Suddenly I heard a voice behind me. "Lady ____ would you care for some tea?" I looked to my side and saw Sebastian leaning over me to pour the tea. I blushed and looked away to try and I hide. "Uh... sure. Thank you Sebastian." I saw him smirk and I inwardly facepalmed. "Here you are my lady." he said softly. I nodded and quickly took the tea cup and brought it to my face to hide my blushing. Sebastian then left the room.
"So, are you alright?" Ciel asked me. I looked to him and at first I was confused, but then I remebered yesterday. "Oh! That... " I looked away for a second, then back to Ceils concerned face. "Yes, Im fine. Thank you for your concern, Ciel." I gave him a soft smile. He nodded and small grin on his lips. "Well... if Sebastian wasnt there to save you, who knows what would have happened. The Trancy people are dangerous. Anyone who enters that mansion unguarded becomes victim to the spider and his web." I was looking down as Ciel spoke, but my gaze flickered onto him when he spoke of the spider and his web. "What did you say?" I asked. I didnt know exactly where I was going with this. I remebered that Sebastian had said he was a demon and that Claude was one as well, but maybe it was part of the dream? I wasnt sure, but the way Ciel said that made me believe something that was completely odd and most likely my imagination. Ciel looked confused and repeated him self. " I simply said that those who enter the manor of the Trancy's unguarded fall victim to the spider and his webs." I nodded. "Yes, yes. Sorry." I cleared my throat. From what I was thinking... I believed that maybe Claude and his master Alois had something to do with the spider on my desk and the bite it left me on my neck. My hand instinctlivly went to my neck. "Did something else happen, ____?" Ciel asked. I looked up at him. "N-no.. its nothing. Im just not very hungry at the moment." I fake smiled and laughed a bit. I then reached for my tea to sip at it. Ciel eyed me for a moment before looking behind me. I followed his gaze and saw that Sebastian was walking towards his master, a letter in his hand.
"Young Lord, we recieved this letter today. I believe its from the Trancy manor." He stated. I heard some discust in his words when he said "Trancy". Ciel opened the letter and read it quietly, before setting the letter down on the table and picking up his tea cup. ".What is it, Ciel?" I asked. After Ceil finished his tea, he set the cup down and spoke. "It seems that the Earl Trancy is having a costume ball this evening. I think we should attend." He said, his face emotionless. "Wha... you mean attend as in go to that brats house?!" I exclaimed, a bit panicked. I handled these things well, but somehting about this made me uneasy. "Yes. You dont have to come if you dont wish to." Ciel stated, looking to Sebastian. "No, I do. I want to come." I said, certainty in my voice but i was apprehensive in my heart. Seeing that Claude again would only give me a chance to show him I wasnt afraid, but I was. He didnt have to know that though. Plus, Ciel and Sebastian will be there. "Lady ___, I dont think thats a good idea. You must still be shaken up by what happened yesterday. " Sebastian said. I looked up to him. "What do you mean?" He paused for a second before taking a breath and speaking again."Claude must have made you a bit upset? Or at least frightened." Sebastian said, his brows furrowing a bit. "No, Im not afraid. The anger I feel towards him only gives me more reason to want to go." I said back, a bit irritable. "My lady-" Sebastian was cut off by Ciel. "Lady ___ wishes to go, so we shall let her." Ciel said with a grin. Sebastian watched me with concern in his red eyes. I watched him for a while, before looking away.
