Downtown Golden Oak, Michigan

The car ride back to Missy's dorm was tense to say the least. Missy chose to sit in the back but this time to not be near him. She quickly wiped away a tear when he looked in the mirror at her. It felt like forever getting to her dorm. When Antonio stopped and parked, he turned around.

"I'm sorry for what I said. I ain't mean that shit. You just made me mad." His eyes were filled with regret.

"I have to shower." She responded. Missy attempted to avoid his eyes. He reached back to grab her chin. She slapped his hand away. "Thanks for the ride." She started to open her door. He locks it back.

"I said I was sorry!" He yelled. She chewed her lip.

"And I said I gotta shower. Your fluids are leaking out of me." She spoke calmly.

"I wanna see you again." He bit his lip seductively, but unintentionally.

"I'm involved with someone else right now."

"But you was busy fucking me last night though." Antonio retorted. Missy gasped in shock.

"And this is exactly why..." Missy got pissed all over again. She went to open her door and he let her go this time. He watched her until she disappeared. They didn't anticipate anyone seeing them though.

Missy went inside and immediately stripped out of her clothes to shower. When she finished, she took the bus to a convenience store for a Plan B and finally laid back in her bed to do nothing but wish Antonio's drumbeat and his memories away. Even if him was all over her. His cologne in her skin. His lips ghosted her neck and breasts. His gruff, controlling voice in her ears. She squeezed her legs together and groaned in agony.

One month later; mid October.

The crisp October air whipped around Missy's back as she walked away from the biology lab late one Thursday night. She smiled, thinking about home. She and Deion were hitting off rather nicely and Antonio was becoming a thing of the past...a blip in her first month and some change, as she would call it. The football team was away more than playing at home so she wasn't even randomly running into him. Top it all off, she had the room to herself tonight since Hope and her boyfriend were spending more and more time together. She grabbed her sweatshirt and headed to the library.

She flopped down in one of the chairs and pulled out her assignments. Missy had a scholarship to maintain.

"Hey! You didn't tell me you were going to be here." Deion sat down next to her with a smile. She smiled back.

"I try to come here 3 days a week." She explained. "I figured you were working on something so I didn't bother you."

"I have time for you." Deion knocked shoulders with her. Off in the distance, unbeknownst to either of them, Antonio and Amiri stood in the aisle watching them.

"Is that proof enough for you?" Amiri asked. Antonio was annoyed. "I don't see why you're looking mad. You rotate bitches like it's a hobby."

"I know what I do...but suddenly this doesn't feel too good." Antonio admitted. Amiri looked over at his twin in shock. "One just for me would be better than any hoe."

"I almost never thought I'd see the day you'd try to cross over. But I still don't believe you. You still be trying to lick your wounds from her rejections. Do you want this woman or not?"

"I do..." they walked away from the aisle and down the steps. Just as they left, Missy smelled Antonio's cologne and her stomach flipped. She was distracted, no matter how hard she forced herself to listen to Deion.
