1. How did you come up with Antonio Minnelli?
-I was reluctant to write about him. Antonio was never supposed to be a main character. He started out last year in one of my lesser popular stories as a stand-alone character. A really bad, dominating person. But because the story didn't pop off, I scrapped it. But his characterization lived on to me. So I saved him. Also, Amiri was not a twin. But one day I was under the dryer at my salon and I was like what if Odell was twins! And then I needed a name. So I consulted a fellow writer and asked her for a sexy name. Boom Amiri and Antonio Minnelli were born. He was portrayed as this wild and crazy guy, a womanizer. But that's not at all who he is. His characterization asked for a lot of attention. Much like his twin.

2. How did Missy get created?
-No lie. Missy was a random name from Amiri's book, Casanova. I knew I wanted Antonio's wife in that book to have a crazy or boisterous personality. But as I thought about her to create her, Missy became a real person to me. Her thoughts and emotions became mine. And then I realized she was me, outside the sexual situations, as an adult now. She couldn't be a 2-D character. Or just one way with everybody. Missy is also the first character I have that did not come from a privileged background. That aids in her transition to being okay with Antonio having money. Missy is also the first female character of mine to not have a physical representation at all. I described her but she is whoever the reader wants her to be.

3. How long did it take you to write this book?
I am in graduate school but on the days I didn't have homework, I wrote. So, about one week or so from start to finish. This is the first book I ever wrote here that I didn't write as I went. Although not my longest chapter wise, this is one my consistently longer books pages wise. I spend a lot of time digging into the relationship of my main characters, because that's where I'm trying to convey lessons.

4. How did you write those sex scenes?
This was the first book for me that the characters evolved naturally. In my opinion. They were not the typical couple in the beginning. Their first meeting wasn't even the most conventional course. Because they spent a lot of time arguing and not much getting to know each other, I had to make their bodies say what their mouths couldn't. Since they had opposing love languages but Antonio was willing to listen, the sex comes easy, as seen in chapter 2.

5. Why use Odell for the Minnelli twins?
Odell is a very chameleon like public figure to me. He can play any character you assign him to and you can see that character and not him. I chose Odell because not only is he eye candy but he could physically deliver what I needed for physical representation. For example, in this 2 frame photo, I chose Odell in a suit. And Odell at his Bloomingdales photo shoot. Two different circumstances. 2 different shoots. 1 person. Picture on the left is friendly, nonthreatening. Amiri. Picture on the right is sexual, dangerous. Antonio. Still the same person.

6. Will there be a story about their children?
🗣Y'ALL THOUGHT I WAS DONE?! Y'ALL THOUGHT I WAS FINISHED! Nope. The Minnelli boys are next in line for the throne. But it's just one problem, fate and love has been put on hold long enough.

Forever My Lady

See y'all there!
