Tobias was up there for an hour. Until he got bored and put clothes on. He opened his door and went down stairs. Then he seen Sarah looking at his phone.

"What are you...." He was cut off.

"Who's Alfred?!" She yelled. Now she was bothered in his life.

"Who?!" Tobias was getting angry.

"Hey Tobias, it's me Alfred. I got your number off James. Last night you weren't doing well. How drunk did you get?! Where did you get the alcohol?!" She yelled Tobias looked angry at her.

"I stole it. Happy!" Sarah went quiet.

"Dad!" She yelled. Oscar came rushing in. He hummed.

"Ye?" She looked angry at her father.

"I want Tobias back!" Oscar froze. Tobias spoke up.

"I'm not going." Tobias told Sarah looked at him.

"Yes you are!" Oscar chimed in.

"No he isn't. He's staying. May not be the best life but we do so much together." Tobias smiled. He remembers the last time he and his grandpa played soccer. And how he complained how the game was too slow. But Oscar was loosing to Tobias. It was funny. Yes, they had down times but who hadn't with their family. Tobias felt tears go down his face. He screamed at Sarah.

"You've never wanted to know me! You have no idea what it's like to stay up at night, asking when mommy's coming home! Or where's dad! Now why would you want me back!? You had sixteen years to get me back! And you did nothing!" Tobias was right. Never once had she gone back. Never tried to get both of her children or even build a relationship. Tobias sighed. He still felt sick and tired.

"You're ungrateful! I've tried!" Tobias rolled his eyes and went back up to bed. He closed and locked his door. He got undressed to only his underwear and went to bed. He fell asleep. He couldn't be bothered at all. Hours went by and soon he heard someone knocking at his door.

"Tobias... You in there boy?" Tobias got up and opened the door.

"Ye?" His grandpa laughed at him. Tobias would as well.

"Here's some food. And please but pajamas on." Tobias grabbed the tray and nodded. He shut his door and placed his food on his desk. It was just his grandpa's special burger. He only made it if he knew Tobias was in distress. Tobias sat at his desk smiling. He had lettuce and ketchup on them. It was special. It was done a certain way. Tobias loved it. He started to eat until everything was gone. He then went back to bed. Covering himself in sheets. Oscar went in, after Sarah fell asleep on the couch, and retrieved the plate. He felt so many emotions for his grandson. He closed the door and went down stairs.

"I want my son back." Sarah told her dad. He looked at her.

"No. You want his talent. I know he steals. I can't stop him. I can't let you take him. Using him for your selfish needs. It's not right." Oscar walked in the kitchen and put the plate in the sink. He left the tray up there. Tobias could bring it down.

"He's my child. I'll get David. He'll help me get him back. You'll see." Sarah went back to the couch. Oscar ignored her threats and sat on the patio. The next door neighbor, Jim, was yelling. He tried to blame it on Tobias.

"Couldn't be. He was out all night at a friend's." Jim stopped yelling and stoned inside. Most probably to get a mop. It was funny to Oscar. He knew Tobias wasn't the best kid. But he still was a sweet boy. When he wanted to be. Slowly the wind blew across Oscars face. He liked the wind. Soon a car pulled up. A man got out and walked to Oscar.

"Is Sarah here?" He asked. Oscar sighed.

"Sarah!" She ran out and smiled.

"David! Let's go. I gotta talk to you." She was walking off. Oscar stood up.

"Sarah! Tobias is angry already. If you leave again with no explanation. Telling no one. Or even trying to build a relationship! You'll regret it!" She rolled her eyes and got in the car. It sped off. Oscar sighed and went inside, closing the door. Tobias sat at the top of the stairs. At first Oscar didn't see him, then he cleared his throat.

"She left again.... She didn't try. She didn't answer my questions." Tobias felt angry. Tears fell down his face. She hates him. She never loved him. Never said sorry for being away. For leaving him.

"I'm sorry." Oscar said. Tobias ran down to him and hugged his grandpa.

"She hates me. That's why no apologies. No answers. No love." Tobias sobbed. Oscar knew this would happen.

"She doesn't. She's just a little not right in the head. Just like us." Oscar ruffled Tobias hair. Tobias laughed and nodded.

"Night." Tobias told. Oscar smiled.

"You sleep. You hear. Your exhausted." Tobias waved his hand and went to bed. Oscar stayed up for awhile, watching a few old American and British shows on the TV. That was until he fell asleep in his arm chair.
