Tobias growled as he headed to Mrs Andrews office. He slowly approach the office and prepared his best smile. He slowly knocked.
"Come in." He heard. He slowly walked in.
"Finally, you're here." Tobias pulled his tongue out.
"Now now boys. Pick up a trash bag and get to work. Also there's only one trash bag. One holds in while the other picks up litter." Both nodded and James grabbed the bag. Both headed to the yard. It had mountains of trash. Tobias started to pick it up. James was looking around but a certain little someone was catching his eye.
"You know.... I never knew you were so feminine." Tobias rolled his eyes. Of course. He had maybe a bit not so noticeable curve in his hip.
"Hey stop looking and actually help." If James wasn't going to help why should he bother picking stuff up too. James shrugged.
"Nah, it looks like you're enjoying yourself." Tobias wanted to punch James right there and then. But his grandpa Owen would be disappointed again. Tobias dropped the bag and sat down. His arms crossed and his eyes closed.
"I ain't doing it then." James clicked his tongue. The brat should be cleaning. James stared at Tobias. He wasn't bad looking. Not one bit.
"You doing anything tonight?" Tobias shrugged.
"Don't know. Why ask?" He snapped. James smiled.
"I am willing to give you a chance. So I'll help you pick stuff up, in return to come over to my house." Tobias didn't know. Then he got a crazy idea. If he did become friends with James maybe he would stop bullying his friends and most of the freshmen.
"You gonna clean?" James nodded. Tobias smiled and got up. James grabbed the bag and started to pick stuff up. By the time teachers were leaving they had cleaned the whole school.
"Now you're coming to mine." Tobias nodded. A deal was a deal. James led him to his car. Tobias had to admit, it was a nice car. Tobias got in the passages side. He took his black backpack off and put his hood up. Then he leaned back. James got in the driver's side and started the car up. Finally they made it to James house. It was lovely. Nothing like Tobias's. His house was broken down and poor. James parked in the drive way and stopped the car.
"Holy mother of heaven." Tobias blurted out. The house was big. The door was a lovely snow white. The golden door knob shun in the light and the windows had a glisten to them.
"Like what you see." James smiled. He loved seeing the shocked expressions of the poor. Tobias just stared at the house in aw.
"Of course. I've barely seen anything like this." James got out and Tobias followed. Damn this was amazing. James got to his door and got his key out his pocket. On upon unlocking the door, a woman's voice yelled.
"James! Is that you?!" Tobias just followed James. He walked in the kitchen.
"Mama! I brought a friend." She smiled and looked at Tobias.
"So, who are your parents?" Tobias gulped.
"I.... I don't see my mother and I never knew my father. I live with my grandpa." Tobias told. James' mother nodded. She patted him on the head.
"Well go upstairs. I'll call you both when I've made supper." James grabbed Tobias by the arm, making him hold in a yelp. James dragged him to his room and pushed the teen in.
"Now Tobias give me good reasons why I should let you hang out with me?" Tobias had a few reasons but not a lot.
"I can get alcohol. I won't steal girls you like. Trust me that's impossible. Also I......" James cut him off.
"How can I know you won't steal a girl from me?" Tobias froze. He said that. No way.
"I don't know. Let's just go on to something else." James smiled.
"Have I found the little emo's secret?" Tobias blushed. He tried to back away somewhere. Anywhere. But James followed him. Pinning Tobias to a wall.
"Let go." Tobias growled. James smiled at the boy struggling to get loose.
"Or what? I know you don't like girls. That does mean you like guy. If I tell people who will they believe, the little no body or the somebody." Tobias gulped and felt helpless. Tobias opened his mouth.
"What do you want?" He should have just kept his mouth close to begin with. James started to think.
"Well I don't want anything right now.... But I want to keep you close to me, so when I want something you'll be there to get me it." James smiled as he let go of Tobias. Tobias rubbed his wrist and glared at James. This was why he hated James with his life.
"Both of you, come down!" James was the first to rush out. Tobias slowly walked behind. Now that he looked at everything, the upstairs was like the down stairs, massive. Lots of rooms with the doors closed were plotted everywhere. Tobias went down and seen food. It was like a picnic. There was sandwiches, chips and stuff like that.
"Thanks mom," she smiled and left the boys. Tobias sat at the table and started to slowly eat. "So you can get alcohol?" Tobias looked up.
"Ye." He carried on eating his sandwiches.
"Well I'll invite you to my party here, under two conditions." Tobias stared.
"What?" Tobias didn't feel right. This was going to be bad.
"You bring alcohol and go as my secret date."
