Tobias snuggled more into the warmth. He didn't feel like waking up. He wanted this feeling to last as long as he could make it. So this is love, Tobias thought. Of course he got love from his friends and the only family that cared but he never felt love like this. Like millions of butterflies in your stomach.
Alfred had woken up and smiled at Tobias. He stroked the lovely black hair out of the boys face. He looked towards his window and thanked the heavens his bed was pushed right against the wall, by the window. He leaned over a little and opened the window a little. The sun shone through the curtain and made Tobias face look for peaceful. Al smiled.
"Hey Toby." Al whispered. Tobias groned a little. Alfred smiled and tapped Tobias nose.
"Alfred! We're home!" Tobias quickly jumped up. So did Alfred.
"Up here! I'll be down now!" Alfred got up and uncreased his clothes. Tobias done the same. Alfred walked towards the door and unlocked it. Tobias got his shoes on and grabbed his bag. The door flung open with Jr and Tallulah running in.
"Al! Al! Guess what?! Who are you?!" Tallulah asked. Tobias laughed. Soon Alfred's mother walked up the stairs with Grace following behind her.
"Al. Who's your friend?" Julia questioned. Tobias waved.
"Mom you remember Tobias, right?" Julia smiled.
"Of course. Hi Tobias. You know my surname but just call me Julia." Tobias looked down.
"Thank you Mrs Alanis." Alfred chuckled and looked at Tobias.
"Do both of you want breakfast?" Both nodded. Grace clung on to her mother. She was shy.
"Hey! Toby! Toby! Let's go!" Jr yelled as Tallulah dragged him away. Tobias looked towards Alfred in a pleading look.
"Have fun." Alfred muttered as Tobias was dragged down stairs by two crazy kids. Grace grabbed Alfred's hand and stuck by him.
"I'll meet you downstairs Al." Julia told. Al nodded and looked at Grace.
"Let's go doll." Alfred started to walk and both went downstairs. Dan was talking to Tobias as the two children were laughing, sitting at the table.
"Yes, Al would run away if we wanted him to get a bath. Would always run into the backyard and get muddy." Al blushed as Grace sat down. Al found a seat by Tobias and sat down.
"Dad stop." Al growled.
"Alfred I love your friend. He's very lovely to talk. I'll just telling him about when you were a child." Dan laughed. Al blushed, Tobias smiled
"Sounds like you had a lot of great memories." Tobias told. Julia nodded.
"So, did you have any good memories with you parents?" Dan asked. Al froze and glared at his dad.
"Dad." Alfred snapped.
"It's fine. I never knew my dad. My mom gave me and my older brother away. It's been me, my grandpa and grandma. I do remember my grandpa and I would go to a café and we would talk while we ate." Julia felt some what bad for the boy.
"Well that sounds like a lovely memory." Al started to eat. Grace dug in. Everything was special cut up. So were the other twos food. Dan ate and Julia took a few bites. Tobias was slow eating, it was delicious. Alfred 'accidentally' knocked Tobias knife on the floor.
"Oh I'll get it." Tobias went to grab it but Alfred grabbed his hand and picked up the knife.
"I got it." Alfred placed it on the table and kept hold of Tobias hand. Everyone was speaking and didn't notice the two holding hands. Grace soon finished and smiled.
"Chocolate." She told. Julia smiled.
"Sorry hunny he haven't got any." Tobias snapped his hand out of Alfred's and went in his bag. He pulled out a bar of chocolates, opened it and snapped it.
"I forgot I brought this. Here." Tobias held the chocolate out. Julia went to say she wouldn't take it when Grace took it and started to eat.
"What do we say?" Alfred asked. Grace smiled. She was going to try and say thank you.
"T t tank you!" Grace yelled. Tobias smiled.
"Your welcome." He found her adorable and so innocent in this world of horrible people.
"I think I should be taking Tobias home." Alfred told. Julia waved towards Tobias and all the children yelled bye. Dan nodded towards him as Tobias left with Al. He flung his bag in the back while Alfred started the car.
Once Tobias got home, he hit his head on the seats headrest.
"You know we have to keep this a secret?" Al asked.
"Y ye." Tobias told. He gulped.
"We can't tell anyone. I mean no one. Promise." Alfred held his hand out.
"Promise." Tobias replied. Alfred looked towards him and leaned in. Tobias did the same and they kissed each other. Soon both pulled away.
"Well see ya tomorrow." Al said.
"Ye, see ya tomorrow." Before Tobias could leave the car Alfred quickly spoke up.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow." Tobias nodded and got out the car, grabbing his bag on the way. Alfred drove off when he knew Tobias was safely in his house.
Tobias closed the door and heard Al leave. Before he could see who was in the living room he ran upstairs and shut his door. He through the bag under the bed and belly flopped on the bed. He felt tingly, like school girl would feel when she ran into her crush. This feeling was amazing and out of this world. Tobias liked it.
