04: then there's her

Two weeks na syang nasa China, and it has been an awful lot of paper works. He doesn't have the time to look out for Sehun, at wala din syang capabilities na manmanan ang lalaki.

Sabi nya hindi nya susubukang hanapin ang lalaki, Sehun just had to tell him and he will end things with him, pero nag mamatigas si Sehun, he didn't bit the bait.

So he hired a private investigator to do the job for him.

It has been two weeks too since the investigator started, at walang progress sa nangyayari.

"It seems like he knew."

Bullshit. He doesn't have to ask. Alam nyang mararamdaman yon ni Sehun.

But whatever really, he doesn't care anymore. Kahit anong sabihin ni Sehun, kahit pagbalibaligtarin man ang posisyon nila, Sehun and his guy will always be lower than him.

"He's cautious Sir. Ni hindi nya sinasagot ang mga tawag sa phone nya, at hindi sya nakikipag kita kahit kanino besides his manager, not even his colleagues."

Napaisip tuloy sya kung bakit hindi pa sya tinatawagan ni Sehun kung alam na nito ang ginagawa nya.

"Stop everything then. Wala namang nangyayari."

He thanked the officer and ushered him out of the office. Napahilot sya sa ulo nang magisa nalang.

It's hard.

It's really, really tiring. With all the things happening around him, from his father's death, to the company's problems, to his personal life. He wanted to escape but he just can't do that anymore.

Sya na ang head ngayon ng pamilya nila, and he can't run from his responsibilities. Hindi na nya pwedeng gawin yung mga ginawa nya dati, and it's tiring. He doesn't know how to cope... or if will he be able to cope at all.

Pang apat na beses na syang tinawag ng secretary nya sa office para kumain, but he always shoo her away because he's really really busy. And he doesn't have any appetite to eat anyway kaya sinabihan nya tong wag na syang guluhin since hindi naman sya gutom.

His secretary seems concern ng isara na nito ang pinto kaya wala na syang nagawa kundi pumayag na itake-out sya nito ng pagkain sa restaurant sa tapat nila.

Napatingin sya sa orasan at napanganga ng makita ang oras, kaya pala kating kati na syang pakainin ng secretary, alas singko na ng hapon. He thought it was only 2PM. Ang bilis naman ata ng oras.

Bumukas ang pinto...

"Give me that, ako nang bahala."

That familiar voice immediately hit him. Fucking hell. He wanted to tell the secretary to not let the woman in pero nauna pa tong pumasok kaysa sa sekretarya nya.

"Sorry Ma'am, hindi po tumatanggap ng visits ang CEO unless you have an appointmeㅡ"

"Kilala nya ko personally, now give me the food. I'll bring it in."

"Luhan."

Akala nya ba hindi na magpapakita sakanya ang babaeng to? He thought that it all ended once the baby was gone. Ano nanamang kailangan nito sakanya.

"Get out." Utos nya bago bumalik sa ginagawa.

"Talk to me. I know you're having a hard time right now."

Tumaas ang kilay nya sa narinig. How dare her act as if she knows everything? Natawa sya, she just doesn't know where she stand in this. Up until now, she still doesn't know her place.

"Put the food on the table and get out."

Inilagay naman ng babae ang pagkain sa ibabaw ng lamesita sa kaliwang bahagi ng office nya, saka naupo sa couch. Ano bang hindi naintindihan nito sa get out, at kanina nya pa sinasabi pero hindi nito magawa gawa?

"I'm sorry for Uncle's death. Hindi ako nakapunta sa funeral dahil sa nasa meeting ako overseas." Hinawakan ng babae ang picture frame na nakalagay sa side table. "I should be there supporting you, I'm sorry."

"Ang sabi ko umalis ka na, I don't care, I'm not asking. Get out."

He knew one more talk from the woman and he'll explode. Just one more.

"Why are you doing this to me Luhan? You're acting as if I've ruined your life. The only thing I did was to bear your child-"

That ticked him off. Big time.

"And he's dead! The child didn't even get to be born because of you! Because of your stupidity and your selfishness!"

"He's my child too!" The woman shouted.

Nakatayo na sya, nakalamukos sa kamay ang papel na dapat pinipirmahan nya lang, his nerves are all over his neck and temple. He's mad as hell.

How dare her bring that up? How dare her talk about the child and all the things that happen in those six months as if she knew how painful that experience was. How that experience ruined his and his father's relationship. How he wanted to forget everything? She doesn't know anything.

"He's my child too Luhan. Every night I regret it. If I could just trade my life for his, I will give up everything for him to be alive."

Nakaka-umay. Nakaka-pagod na.

It was too much to handle. Napaupo sya sa upuan, napahilot ng sentido, napahilamos ng muka. Alam nya, Sehun needs to know about everything that has happened when he went to China and stay there for six months.

But he knew Sehun will never understand.

"Keep this in your narrow skull, I did that to fulfill my father's wishes, not to satisfy your stupid obsession of marrying me. I will never marry you, even if you bear all my sperm in your belly. Get out."

The woman was about to talk again when he held his name plaque made in glass and threw it right on the floor.

"I SAID FUCKING GET OUT!!!"

The glass shattered in front of him. Kasunod ng paglabas ng babae ay ang pagpasok ng secretary nya na mukang gulat na gulat sa nangyari. Lalapitan sana sya nito ng pigilan nya ang babae dahil sa mga bubog.

"Are you hurt sir? I'm so sorry. She insisted of coming in. Wala po akong nagawa."

"I'm fine. Pakitawag nalang yung utility to clean this up."

Lalabas na sana ito ng tawagin nya ulit.

"And join me while I eat. Ang dami mong biniling pagkain, I don't think I can eat everything."

Tumango ang sekretartya at sinabing hindi nya kasi alam ang gusto ni Luhan kaya binili nya lahat, Luhan smiled as the secretary went out to call the utility.

Napatingin ulit sya sa bubog na nasa harap nya, his name plaque in shattered pieces now. Alam nya naman, kailangan nyang sabihin kay Sehun yon.

But how can he make the guy understand that he never cheated on him.
