TMI High 21

Alec's pov.

I walk into my room after a long day of pure boredom. It's about 7:00 and the sun has just started to set. I open my curtains to let some light in. I jump back and scream.

Magnus is perched on the window frame chuckling. He's looking at me with an amused face. "May I?" He asks gesturing into my room. I nod.

I'm still breathing heavy when he comes up to me and engulfs me in a hug. I wrap my arms around him and breath him in.

"I missed you." He says grinning and me. "Oh, and sorry for scaring you." He laughs. I just smile at him as he plops himself on my bed.

"You could've warned me!" I said, my heart beat finally starting to slow down. I sit down next to him.

"So." He says glancing at me nervously. "I was thinking we could go out sometime next weekend." I look up at him. He's asking me out on a date? He notices my silence and speaks up. "That is, if you want to. I mean, it's fine if you're busy. We could al-"

I cut him off by kissing him on the cheek. "of course!" He smiles with a relieved look on his face.

We climb out the window and talk for a while. We talk about what happened while he was gone and where he went. After a while I noticed how late it was getting. The sun was completely set and we were walking on the road lit only by the street lights.

We get back to my house and I climb through the window and tell him i'll see him tomorrow. He kisses me good bye and turns with a wave. I sink into my pillows and off to sleep.

Clary's pov.

It's already monday and I have to wake up early again. ugh. I get up and hop into the shower. The water is way to hot but I'm to tired to do anything about it, so I just let the hot water run down my back, scalding my skin.

Once I'm dressed in my regular apparel, I slip on a pair of vans and head out the door.

Simon and I walk toward the school entrance. I hear footsteps behind me and turn around to see Izzy joining us.

"Hey!" she says. She's always way to happy on mondays.

Simon looks at me expectantly. I just give him a look that says 'Stop rushing me!'. He glares at me.

"Okay." Izzy says. "I know, you're best friends and, sure, it's cool that you can have secret telepathic conversations, but seriously, I feel left out."

I laugh a little and she looks at me like I'm supposed to tell her what was happening.

She finally gives up and starts a new conversation.

Once she leaves Simon and me, Simon glares at me. "I thought you were going to ask!?"

"I'm waiting for the time to be right!" I say faking a passionate look.

He looks at me with a serious look on his face. "I really need to know" I nod. "Soon" he reinforces.
