Twenty nine

Ryan POV
Woody:"look Ryan,my love,my baby,I really need to concentrate right now so can you leave me alone"
Ryan:"you don't need your phone to concentrate"

He kisses his teeth as he unlocks the phone then hands it to me.

Straight away all I see is. A bunch of text back and forth with Corie.

                      Woody-I miss you....Ive missing you for a while Corie

I get up and start walking off with his phone
Woody:"where you going?"
Ryan:"somewhere else..you said you don't wanna be distracted"

I went upstairs to our room,sat on the bed and continued reading the texts.
Corie💜-so why didn't you call or text me for so many years?i only got a new number recently

Woody-I think you know why

Corie💜-nope......I really don't

Woody-my girl would not be cool with us being friends

Corie💜-well you could have told her she has nothing to worry about.which is something you would have done if you truly felt she had nothing to worry about,but you clearly feel she does

Woody-well obviously I mean we did have a little something going on

Corie💜-what fucking and a little flirting

Woody-me and you both know it was a little more than just that

Corie💜-so you admit it then your girl has something to worry about

Woody-yes Corie because there's no doubt that am attracted to you so it would've been hard to stay loyal to her

Corie💜-woody all I wanted was for you to check up on me once in a while I mean we were friends

Woody-as I said before Ryan would not be cool with us being friends.But I am sorry for everything Cor

Corie💜-it's alright x

I decided to just go back downstairs and go speak to him.

I went and sat next to him
Ryan:"woody we need to talk"
I pushed the script away from him
Ryan:"so um I saw the texts between you and Corie"
Woody:"oh...and?..."
Ryan:"well do you like her?"
Woody:"uh no we are just friends"
Ryan:"really cause it would be fine if you did"
He looked at me like I had two heads
Woody:"what?"
Ryan:"it would be fine because umm....woody I um..I kinda wanna get back with Keith"
He stared at me with no facial expression on his face then got up walking to the kitchen

I rushed after him
Ryan:"woody"I call out,I get to him and see him pouring himself something to drink "woody...woody...woody!"
Woody:"what!"
Ryan:"do you not have anything to say?"
He sips his drink
Woody:"why did you waste my time?"
Ryan:"what do you mean?"
Woody:"if you liked Keith from the start why bother with me"
Ryan:"I don't know woody"
Woody:"we have a kid together Ryan"
Ryan:"I know but nothing much will change we're always gonna be her parents"
There was a silence for a while
Woody:"what now Ryan what do you wanna do are you gonna go live with him now?"when he said this I could hear the anger and pain in his voice
Ryan:"I don't know Woody"a tear slide down my face,which I quickly wiped

This was suppose to be the man I loved,He has never done anything but try and keep me happy,but my heart was for Keith.
Woody:"just go Ryan"
As he said those words I started to feel some type a way,it just didn't feel right to leave on a bad note.

I start crying and slowly walk off but I just didn't want to.

i felt his presence behind me as I was walking so I turned around.
Woody:"Ryan don't cry,am gonna be fine and so are you.Am glad you told me how you felt,just wish you had done it earlier"
He hugs me and I hug him back literally pouring my eyes out.But what he said really made me feel relieved that he actually understood how I felt.Him saying he would be fine made me know I would be fine.

I eventually let go from the hug and he literally stares at me holding on to my waist,I wiped my tears away then looked at his face.
Woody:"you really are beautiful"
I really didn't believe him when he said that but thanked him anyway,smiling
Ryan:"thank you"
Woody:"don't tell me thank you when you don't believe me"he says laughing.

I start laughing what did he want me to say,this guy knows me to well
Woody:"so you leaving then"
Ryan:"uh...yeah I think I should woody"
He let's go of me then walks back over to the kitchen.

I go upstairs and call Keith
Phone call
Keith-"hello"
Ryan-"Keith I did it..I told woody"
Keith-"for real! What he say?"
Ryan-"that he'll be fine...can I uh come over"
Keith-"yeah for sure you gonna bring your stuff"
Ryan-"uh yeah if that's cool with you"
Keith-"haa yeah it is Ry I'll see you in a bit"

Jamal POV
Me and Jayden just got back from the hospital to bring grandma home.She was finally feeling better and got permission from the doctor to stay home.

Keith POV
Pepi had came back from grocery shopping and was now making some food,while me and Kevin were watching a basketball game.

Kevin:"oh my gosh leBron get up!you were not that badly hit!"

Pepi was walking over to the dining table with our food and utensils,so I decided to go over and help her.

I grab some knifes and forks from the kitchen placing them on the dining table.

She looked at me smiling.
Pepi:"thanks Keith"
Keith:"it's cool"

She brought plates of food over placing them on the table.

Eventually we were sitting by the table eating.
Kevin:"mmh this is good what is it"he said eating real fast
Pepi:"it's a Nigerian dish,called Jollof rice"
Keith:"so just so you guys are aware um Ryan's coming over..like with her stuff,she's staying here"
Kevin:"you tell us now we didn't even get a say in if she can come or not"
Keith:"boy you ain't paying no bills up in here,you don't deserve a say"
Kevin:"I will be soon,got a job today remember"
Keith:"anyway Pepi is her coming here cool with you"
Pepi:"no"she said with such certainty
