[Chapter Thirty two]

[Draco Malfoy's P.O.V]

Death would probably feel a lot better than this. My bones, my throat...oh my throat felt retched. Everything in my body was screaming at me as I lay there, Wayward at my side with her eye's closed. I had closed my eye's too in hope that sleep would come, the pain should disappear by then. The whole situation we had both been forced in had put is in even more danger. I turned on my side, my back to her as I realised the danger. I hoped she thought I was asleep.

The danger of getting closer.

I couldn't admit to myself why I had saved her. I listened very carefully as she stood up, a slight whimper coming from her pretty mouth and then she was gone. Asleep in the bed next to mine with just a curtain keeping us apart. It was ironic...a curtain keeping us apart, a different colour tie keeping us apart, a house keeping us apart...

Even through everything I couldn't quiet come to terms with what had happened. One minute we were arguing and the next she was gripping my hand, so tightly it hurt and we where in a classroom. The look on her face would of made me smug if it wasn't for these damn...what do you call them again? Oh I give up.

I was sick of having things on my mind! Sick to death of it. I turned back over and faced the curtain, was she asleep? Probably...she looked like she was on deaths door.

Another damn feeling I couldn't shake off was when she was there, under the murky water just drifting...she promised me she would hold on, she promised! It made me so mad I just had to go help her...that infuriating me further. The way she fell fast to the bottom..argh! She's a stupid Gryffindor. No reason to think about her.

I was also pretty sure that tomorrow my parents would arrive, fully enraged that there precious son was nearly killed to death by drowning in one of Hogwarts corridors Oh joy. I sighed to myself, pulled the thin blanket over my head and-

A loud smash! Stopped me dead in my tracks.

“Ouch!” I rolled my eye's, slowly I got out of my bed and pushed through the curtain. Wayward looked at me with full surprise, she had smashed her glass thus cutting open a few of her fingers...the glass lay at the side of her bed.

“Had an accident?” I smirked.

She rolled her eye's and blushed. Of course she was looking at me in my nightmare but let her look. I smirked as I grabbed her bleeding hands and sat down onto her bed. Yes I already knew she was a pureblood, if I hadn't I would of never came an inch near her.

“Ow Malfoy that hurts!” she cried as I yanked a tiny piece of glass from the crease of her index finger.

“Good” I grabbed a tissue from the side of her table which was covered in many assortment of cards and sweets and wrapped it around the wound and just to be mean I pressed down a little, she flinched cutely.

“Thanks” she quickly pulled her hand away from me and made a grab for her wand, her top had ridden up and I had to look away...her skin was so... When I looked back the glass stood proudly back on her bedside table. “I can be a clutz sometimes”
